  • Comfortably back in time

"Harbour Lodges is a lovely 1930's style New England home on the shore of an inlet known as The Gut. It is so very peaceful, the main noise being acorns dropped by squirrels onto the roof! We have spent a week looking around the Pemaquid and Boothbay area, where life seems so slow and we have found rest and relaxation in the lovely old house. Not everything is old. The heating is quite up to date and the beds are definitely not old horse hair ones. Overall impression, 3000 mile trip, well worth it!"

"We spent a wonderful week. My wife and 3 friends stayed at this cottage last year and again this year. And no surprises just as advertised, clean neat and comfortable. It was fun watching the lobster boats come and go, right from our porch. Quite not any traffic it is on a dead end road that ends just a few houses below the cottage. Great views on the water. The sunsets were beautiful from the porch and living room window. Hope to see you again next year Thanks Sandy for a great week."

  • Great little apartment steps away from everything!!

"We stayed for 7 days and had a wonderful time. Perfect location if you're looking to be steps away from everything. The car stayed parked all week and we walked to everything because it was so close. The apartment was very clean and recently remodeled along with being dog friendly it's the perfect spot to spend some time. The Gimble family are super nice people and easy to deal with and I would recommend staying in any one of the locations they have all in the same building."

  • Cozy and Quiet

"Really cozy and comfortable place in a nice location. Really quiet and away from the busyness. We had a beautiful week. Even though a few chilly nights, it warmed up nicely during the day. Todd kindly offered to buy us a heater but the wood stove sufficed. We didn't really get to enjoy the chairs on the rocks out back but think it would be nice in warmer weather. Steep bank to get in so if you have trouble with that, just be aware. Rustic but well supplied."
