  • Charming riverfront home

"We recently had a wonderful stay at this home in Gloucester. It has a fantastic view of the water and is in such a quiet neighborhood that we had wonderful peaceful mornings and evenings watching the boats go by. My kids loved exploring the shore at low tide and collecting shells and hermit crabs. The house confortably fit our large group and everyone was impressed with how well kept the house is, the family really cares for the property. We have been traveling to Gloucester every year for a long time and this is by far the best place we have stayed. Unique, comfortable and charming New England coastal cottage. Parking is a little tight on the narrow road but was still able to accommodate all our many vehicles! It is also less than 10 minute drive down to the Harbor. We hope to return to this home on our next trip to Gloucester."

  • Fun filled vacation week

"This was our first stay at the estate home vacationing a week in August, 2016. The house and the setting proved better than we even imagined. The beautiful views of the ocean, rocks and marsh from the expansive deck was so relaxing. The sunsets were stunning and a night of meteor showers were enjoyed by all. The home was clean and very well maintained. The air conditioning was a relief on a few of the days of high and humid temperatures. The living and dining/kitchen area is open, airy and perfect for visiting for our three-generation family. The game room was great for individual play with lots of blocks and toys and the ping pong table provided numerous hours of competitive rounds. The variety and interest of books was a huge hit for all, certainly for the grandchildren. The yard easily accommodated whiffle ball and other outdoor games. The playground and tennis court was an adventure with something of interest for everyone. We took numerous short walks to the beach morning, afternoon and evening. The grandkids loved searching for crabs and other sea creatures. The waves were a perfect size for younger children. For the adults, the water was wonderful for doing laps, floating and chilling in the water. Climbing the rocks and jumping off the dock provided endless entertainment. Everyone enjoyed the kayaks, most their first experience. Many thanks to the owners. Family memories are precious and we're planning on returning to this gem of a vacation home for many years to come."

  • Very Relaxing

"Exactly what I needed! Wonderful location, quiet street, close to EVERYTHING Gloucester has to offer and walking distance to great food on Rocky Neck. Beautiful Cove with little beach at low tide, lots of shelling and able to put in a paddle board and off you go around the Gloucester harbors. Clean and highly recommend. Will go back again for sure! Thank you Elizabeth."

  • Perfect Vacation Home

"As we entered the house, we were immediately welcomed with a vase of lovely, fresh flowers. The open floor plan provided a perfect setting for my entire family to always be engaged with everyone. My adult children and their families had lots of fun as the house provided not only all of the essentials inside but had a great yard space complete with gas grill, umbrella, table and chairs and a much used outdoor shower when returning from the beach. The location of the house was perfectly situated between Long Beach and Good Harbor Beach and within easy walking distance of the house. The pictures of the house (or even if you view the house from the outside) do not do justice to the actual space inside the house. It was very spacious and well laid out. The upstairs bedroom with 5 beds and a bath worked perfectly for one of my children's family. The two bedrooms on the first floor were also very spacious, lots of closets. We also found having such great parking available to us was a real plus. There are lots of great spots to visit in the area: Rocky Neck (artist colony) and it also has some great restaurants: The Rudder and the Studio; Rockport with lots of local shops on Bear Skin Neck, Stage Fort Park, Eastern Point for some great fishing, and a visit to the new hotel, Beauport! Our favorite restaurant is Duckworth - but you must make a reservation long in advance of your visit. We hope to come back to this Perfect Vacation Home again next year. PS July 2016"
