  • A great place!

"My wife and I along with our Corgi stayed here for two weeks around Labor Day and had a great time. My wife's mother, brothers and their family joined us to make a full house over Labor Day. The facilities are great for two or eight. We visit Charlevoix about every other year so know the area well and this house is in a great location just a block from Lake Michigan beaches and a short walk to downtown Charlevoix. The back yard is beautiful and the front porch is where you will want to relax. The owner went far beyond the call to duty over Labor Day weekend. On Friday (after all the family arrived) the washing machine sprung a leak. After texting the owner, there was a repairman at the house Saturday and by Monday we had a new washing machine - what service and very much appreciated!"

  • Charming home, perfect location and a great price!

"My husband and I just returned from a two-week vacation in Charlevoix and were lucky enough to find this home. The home has been updated to include air conditioning, Internet, cable TV and more. The property was clean and well maintained and talk about a great location!! A two-block walk one way and you're on Bridge Street in Downtown Charlevoix with all the shops, restaurants and Marina. A two-block walk the other way and you're at Lake Michigan with a beach and a wonderful walkway along the water with a lighthouse at the entrance to Lake Michigan. I love to walk in the mornings and I was up bright and early and walked every day (sometimes even twice a day) because it was such a nice area in which to walk. The house is also located across from the Charlevoix Library. You may not think about that being any big deal, but the Charlevoix Library is so awesome! They had several events at the library which we attended (inside and outside). I encourage guests to try and catch one of their lectures on the history of the museum - fascinating. If you're a golfer (which we both are) you are close to many of Michigan's fantastic courses. You're also a close drive to Harbor Springs and Petosky but you'll be delighted to return "home" to Charlevoix where I find it to be much more relaxing and the hustle and bustle of traffic is much less. I could go on and on about all the close destinations for fun and activities within a short drive from Charlevoix but you should try them for yourself. The owner, Laura, could not have been more helpful with providing information that we needed to know whether by providing a basket of informational brochures kept at the house or by being able to call or text. I would highly recommend this property to our family and friends. We definitely will be back and this property is at the top of our list when we visit Charlevoix."

  • It's got it all!!!

"This turned out to be one our our best vacations ever. This property is absolutely beautiful. The house is great and set up with everything that you would ever need. We brought numerous things out of habit, that we never took out of the vehicle. The cabana and all the amenities for the lake were perfect. We enjoyed the laid back quiet town of Charlevoix and all of the restaurants that Lara recommended. 8 out of 8 of our crew wants to come back to Rabbit Hollow!"
