  • Great for families

"We really enjoyed our recent stay. We had 6 adults and 2 toddlers and had plenty of room. The lake was crystal clear but rocky (wear your water shoes), but the beach had lots of sand for building sand castles and just relaxing and soaking in the view. We saw eagles, deer, turkeys, and lots of water fowl. Charlevois is a cute picturesque town, and only a short drive away. Lots of nice shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend this place."

  • A great place!

"My wife and I along with our Corgi stayed here for two weeks around Labor Day and had a great time. My wife's mother, brothers and their family joined us to make a full house over Labor Day. The facilities are great for two or eight. We visit Charlevoix about every other year so know the area well and this house is in a great location just a block from Lake Michigan beaches and a short walk to downtown Charlevoix. The back yard is beautiful and the front porch is where you will want to relax. The owner went far beyond the call to duty over Labor Day weekend. On Friday (after all the family arrived) the washing machine sprung a leak. After texting the owner, there was a repairman at the house Saturday and by Monday we had a new washing machine - what service and very much appreciated!"

  • Fabulous!

"Our vacation was the first week August 2016. This is a beautiful home with plenty of room for our family of 6 adults and 5 kids. My g-kids loved all the games. We walked to town many times, it is close to the beaches and many activities in the area. Our favorite was the front porch and its view. We plan on returning to this property."

  • Perfect location for touring

"We spent a week at this charming lakefront property. It is in a quiet location and the lake was great for swimming. The weather was very warm so we were glad to have the a/c option at night. The only thing that I did not realize was there was no WI-FI. I had downloaded books to read on my iPad and was disappointed not to be able to use it at all. Also, there is no cable, so we were challenged trying to watch the Olympics on the tv with only a digital antennae. That being said, it is the perfect location for day trips for those who have never been there. It was an easy trip to Mackinac Island and then down to Sleeping Bear and Frankfurt. We had a great time and really enjoyed our time at this great spot. Four stars only for the lack of WI-FI and basic cable."
