  • Great Stay at Boyne City, MI

"We had a very busy week at Boyne City. The Landings was everything it was advertised to be. We went hiking, snow skiing, snowmobiling, snow shoeing, and shopping, all in the local area. The grocery store is within walking distance and so is the downtown area. The loft bedroom was perfect for our group, we had teens and that was there area away from parents. Thanks Larry for being available to answer all questions asked."

  • Quaint cottage in beautifu,l private beach club

"Beautiful, peaceful setting with gorgeous beach just a few steps away. The cottage is very simple, but has all you need. A great screeed porch where you can sit and see the lake. The owner was quick to respond to any questions. We very much enjoyed our time there and would definitely rent it again."

  • 315 Water Street Inn

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very comfortable spot to relax for a few days in Boyne City. The site is VERY well maintained, if fact we were surprised to learn it's about 30 years old. Appreciated 315 being a corner unit and the updates in the kitchen and bathroom. The convenience of the location to downtown and Boyne Mountain was a HUGE plus!"

  • Crooked Lake fans

"Although we do not currently own property there, our family has spent summers on Crooked Lake for a century now. We rented this home for a family reunion to introduce our sixth generation to this wonderful area. The house's five comfortable bedrooms, large porch and nice yard gave us the space we needed. It is a lovely old house with a nice dock and two mooring bouys which we used for the canoe and sailboat we brought along. The kitchen is more than adequate with plenty of dishes and all the basic cooking pans, tools, etc. The washer and dryer were a great help too. There is a bike path right across the road behind the house to help you get around while keeping you off Route 31. The highway can be busy, especially if special events are occurring. During our stay the sailboat race that ends at Mackinac Island brought traffic. Be aware that the water system includes a pump which is typical of northern Michigan cottages and sometimes struggles to keep up. It does do the job, just don't expect high paced city functioning. The lake bottom is waist or less deep for quite a ways out so great for younger kids. You can rent pontoon boats at either Ryde or Windjammer if you want to anchor out deeper. There is so much to do in this area in the summer you will have a hard time running out of options. Start with eating at Northwoods Restaurant and stopping at the House of Pies, both in walking distance. Although we usually move our reunioun from place to place, we are seriously considering returning here next time."
