  • Quiet retreat in the woods

"Amazing little place that was more than big enough for our family of 4. Comfortable inside and fantastic outside. Days spent exploring by foot or paddle, nights spent trying to outwit each other at one of the games provided. The boys (10 & 12yr old) loved paddling up the river and swimming off the raft. You have all the comforts of home, with a little outside twist... the outside shower might sound strange, but is enjoyable. My wife made the comment that it was one of the quietest places she has ever been. Lisa was great to work with, communication was generally within a day. We plan on going back & would highly recommend it to others."

  • Great little place by the lake.

"Plenty of room for everything we needed. We lived the screened in porch! The dock was nice with an electric plug in close by. The owners were great and made sure we had a great time while we were there."

  • Awesome!

"Beautiful rustic cabin on the most interesting location. Will be going back for sure. Lack of TV, internet, cell phone is a blessing and so hard to find anymore. Whole family was outside the whole time unless it was storming....which is a beautiful thing to see come in as well. Life was so much slower and easier on the island. Days just melded into one big relaxing time period. Time doesn't exist here."

  • Great place to lay your head down after exhausting sight seeing for night.

"Waking up to a view of Lake Michigan and a sunset over Lake Michigan are wonderful sights. If you have never experienced swimming along US 2 you should make this a vacation spot to rent. Had a couple of pasties during the week and great food (and ice cream of course ) in St Ignace and Mackinaw City. Garlyn zoo is nice attraction nearby as well as hiking in woods behind cottage. We did a day trip to to Sault Saint Marie locks a must if you have never been there. Jason was always accessible for any questions . Thanks for the use of your place Jason."
