  • PERFECT FOR OUR BIG FAMILY!

"Our family had a wonderful time at your cabin. The cabin is very nice, basement is nicely remodeled, everything very clean and the huge lot perfect for our big (sometimes can get noisy) family! Plenty of table space on the deck for our whole family to eat together. We spent most of our time boating, floating, fishing, enjoying campfires (firewood supplied is a HUGE perk!) and playing lawn games. A big plus is the close proximity to Alex-in 5 minutes you can be in town. The owners are very nice and helpful."

  • Great Fall weekend getaway

"My group of friend and I knew we would like the nearby bike trail and the Carlos Creek Winery, and we could tell from the photos of the house that we were in for a treat - and we were! A very large, very comfortable, beautifully decorated, and IMMACULATELY CLEAN home made us not want to leave! It was a cool weekend, and the sauna felt heavenly on Saturday night. The twin beds, the king bed, the queen beds: all very comfortable. The large screen TV: terrific; we enjoyed watching our favorites on Netflix. The bird feeders were especially fun. They are perfectly situated for watching from the oh-so-comfortable living room, and the woodpecker provided a lot of entertainment."

  • Relaxing with a View

"My friend and I spent a week in this cozy, comfortable cabin. After three years we had plenty to talk about. The best part was relaxing in the living room with hot cups of tea and looking out the window at Blackwell Lake and the beautifully landscaped yard. The teepee is its own topic of conversation. The kitchen is furnished more than adequately with cooking pots, dinnerware and cutlery, and gadgets. And if one prefers lunch or dinner out, Alexandria is a short ten minute drive or less away. The hot tub is clean and well maintained as is the cabin. Truly a place in which to unwind and forget the busyness of life. Glen and Barry while at the property offered some suggestions for things to do, did not intrude. Left with some great memories and the pleasing sensation of time well spent. Thank you Glen and Barry for sharing your cabin with my friend and me. I'd book this cabin again."

  • Great place to stay!

"My mom, sisters and friends really enjoyed staying at this lovely house. Everything was clean, and it was so spacious. The views from the big picture windows are amazing, we even got to see a bald eagle, up close as he hunted for fish in the lake. The manager was quick to respond to fix a minor issue. Alexandria is a nice town with more to explore than I originally thought, we were busy everyday for the week we stayed there. The Central Lakes trail was great for getting in long walks everyday. Would love to come back and stay here again sometime."
