  • one of our favorite ski-in-ski-out stays!

"I am not sure what the previous reviewer (snowboard_traveler from MN) is talking about (hopefully Homeaway removed it by now)?!? He or she must be talking about another Arrowhead Chalet because the steps up to the front door from the inside as he mentioned in his complaint don't exist. We have a fantastic stay! the condo is well appointed and clean and it's not over-the-top fancy. it was the perfect ski condo in my opinion. we didn't miss anything, TV, appliances and hot tub all worked great and Shelley, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with!"

  • Everything we expected and more

"Being new to the Big Sky area we weren't certain what location was necessary to make things convenient. The website provided all the detail needed to make an informed decision. The entire process from reviewing the property to completing the booking process was seamless. The owner was very responsive to our questions in advance of rental and after. He always got back to us quickly. The unit is beautiful. It’s almost hard to believe anyone would want to rent out something so nice. It is well built, spacious, spotless, beautifully furnished and well appointed. Without any hesitation we would recommend this property to someone interested in a Big Sky vacation and would not hesitate to book there on another occasion. The view of Lone Mountain is breathtaking. We prepared most of our meals in the townhouse and only dined out one night. The kitchen had everything we needed including cake pans to bake a birthday cake. We tried the small Thai restaurant in Town Center but were unable to get a table as it was too crowded. There were seven in our party so reservations would be recommended should we try that again. The skiing was fantastic. You never know what kind of weather to expect in March but over the course of our seven day visit, we received nearly two feet of fresh powder. Amazing first time experience. The only objection with Big Sky is that the township does not provide for recycling. We were able to transport our plastic, glass and cardboard back to Bozeman before flying home but it would be nice if the county would provide that collection service. We hope you find this review helpful. S & G"

  • Loved it!!

"The cabin was perfect for our family! It's probably 9-10 mile up the mountain but we loved it! We loved sitting on the porch in the morning and drinking our coffee and enjoying the beautiful mountain view. We hiked on the trail that was directly behind our cabin it was a nice hike. The owner of the cabin is very thoughtful in that she provides things you may have forgotten at home or at the grocery store, we were very impressed. The beds were super comfy too! We would definitely recommend this place to anyone."

  • The Best of Montana's Views

"My brothers and I have been coming to Montana for decades to chase trout in the Treasure State's pristine streams, and with this year being the third year in a row at Jennifer and Jack's place we were once again mesmerized by the panoramic view of the Madison mountain range enjoyed from the back deck: it's most impressive, and gives one the true sense and size of this magnificent mountain range. The accommodations are superb for a group of four men: plenty of sleeping room with extremely comfortable mattresses, plenty of cooking gear and a back deck grill to fire up a big piece of Montana beef on. The owners are always around if you need them, but respect their guest's privacy as well. We are looking forward to returning again next year, and will book as soon as we figure out our dates, because the place fills up fairly fast, and as a good man once said to me, "He who hesitates, sleeeps at home." Thanks for everything! Tim Carvour Marysville, Ohio"
