  • A perfect retreat for a honeymoon!

"Wow… After spending a week and a half at this cabin I can't image going anywhere else when we go back out west. The cabin was great! It was very clean, well maintained, and the online description was quite accurate. We were able to sit outside on the deck and watch several groups of deer feed/play. The cabin is in a valley that makes the mountains look majestic and spectacular. We found the cabin to be a perfect location from the park, with being about twenty minutes away from the park, it was great to relax without the traffic or noise of all the other visitors in the area. The kitchen is very spacious and well stocked. The owners were amazing with answering every question we had and they were easy to get ahold of while being super friendly! Some places we enjoyed included Wildflour (The best cinnamon rolls EVER), Follow Yer Nose BBQ, and Yellowstone Lake Dining Room. After staying a week and a half and not having a problem we were really impressed. We can't wait to return."

  • great family vacation spot

"We had a great 2 week stay. First week we had 6 grandkids and their parents. The kids absolutely loved it here. They started out the week climbing the mountain/hill behind the house exploring the new surroundings. As the week went on the trampoline was the #1 amenity followed closely by the hot tub. After a day exploring Yellowstone the kids couldn't wait to get back to the house. The grownups enjoyed the outside decks and the views of Emigrant Mt. The house comfortably handled 14 people. Kitchen was very nice and the big table was the center of activity for meals and card games later in the evening. The family's of mule deer that were there every day added a great touch as well."

  • Even more than we expected!

"This place was so amazing. It was our 41 st annivasary and a very special trip for our 6 yr old grandson. We are born and bred Texans but believe we fould convert quickly! We spent 1 week in Montana exploring Yellowstone and another week in Wyoming exploring the Grand Tetons and all her beauty. The 6 yr old was never even slightly bored. He loved every moment. Him and GranPa would act like there was a baby deer outside our window. I would hear the hush, hush wisperings going on and would quickly sneak a peek outside. They would quickly laugh outloud! They were looking at the "littlebaby deer" on the big flower pot. Thought they were pulling one on me every time! We loved the privacy and feeling that we were all alone. The cabin is situated so that you dont realize the owners are next door. We love, love, loved this place. Hopefully we will be back next year, if my health doesnt fail! Thank uou so much for the use of your home."

  • Beautiful area, perfect amenities and Host

"We enjoyed our two nights in April at Vicky's cabin. We had our two teen girls and two small dogs with us. Was perfect for the four of us. We loved the beauty of the area and seeing all the deer around the cabin and right down in the pasture below the cabin they seemed to love to hang out during our stay. Really enjoyed having the washer and dryer, we had been on the road travelling across country. Was close enough for a day trip to Yellowstone, was nice to return to the cabin after Yellowstone. Vicky was a wonderful host, cabin was very clean and equipped with everything we could need. She even brought us over fresh baked cookies. We ate at Rivers edge bar and grill, great food after a day at Yellowstone....glad we did not eat in Gardiner. Such better local fare at Rivers edge. If we return out west to the area we will definitely stay again."
