  • Amazing home, great location!

"What a perfect home in a great location. The house was clearly just remodeled. It has a great open floor plan that allows family to gather but also has enough space to not feel crowded. Did I mention there are TV's in the main room, family room, and each bedroom just in case you want some alone time or just want to watch something different than the rest of the gang. The new kitchen is equipped with every tool a chef could want and it's just waiting for you to make that new recipe you have been wanting to try or to cooking the old family favorites. You can serve your guest either inside on the large dinning room table, or outside on the large inviting deck with enough space for the whole crew to sit and enjoy your meal. The back yard is amazing from the large deck, to the beautiful lawn area, down to the Bocce ball court with lots of space for everyone to enjoy. The 2 car garage is great for storing and keeping all the toys you brought safe and secure. The house is located within easy walking distance to the Hyatt, Incline ski beach which we totally enjoyed using the private boat ramp, and many local restaurants. If you jump into your car you can be in Reno, Carson City, South Lake Tahoe, Truckee, or Tahoe City within 40 minutes. Our group could not have enjoyed this house more and we will defiantly be back."

  • Great winter experience.

"A somewhat belated review here.... We spent 2 months touring the US and there was no better place that we stayed at. It was our first white Xmas and we all fell in love with the area. The unit was very close to Diamond Peak for skiing and a few minutes to town and the lake. It had a homely feel, somewhat retro. We could spread out as there was plenty of room with three bedrooms that were on the lower level and generous living area upstairs. The place was well stocked with everything you could possibly want. The pellet heater was out of action but Val communicated this to us so we were aware of it before we arrived. I found Val to be responsive and easy to deal with. I would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area."

  • We felt like home

"We spent three nights in August in Fred and Diana's condo. What I can say is that they are great hosts - from bending over to accommodate an early check-in and especially for keeping this condo in such way that made us feel like home. One can tell the condo is not very new and most condos of this age sometimes feel and look a bit creepy. This one is different: it's clean, well maintained, in good standing, well furnished, perfectly functional and, in addition to all this - very charming. What I liked the most is that, as opposed to other rental condos, one can find any household object needed - just like home. The kitchen is fully endowed with anything needed for cooking, including spices, oil & vinegar - you name it. Same for the rest of the house, in every detail. You can tell the hosts care about it and want to make you feel good. The only (minor) downside is that the unit is not very bright. The recreation area looks brand new and has a pool, hot tub, sauna and ping-pong table. The complex seems very well maintained. Overall a very pleasant experience - thank you, Diana and Fred!"

  • Spacious, picturesque and clean!

"We stayed here, two couples for a 3 day weekend getaway and this spot was amazing! The house was hillside and had great view to the mountains. It was very clean and well equipped with all you could want and more including espresso machine, waffle maker, and full kitchen cookware. We loved the spacious living room and fireplace to cozy up to late night. And we loved that there were two separate bedroom areas, one upstairs and one downstairs with their own individual bathrooms. In addition this place is a few minute drive to Diamond Peak so easy access to slopes, as well as being close to the quaint town of incline village. We certainly would stay here again and recommend it to others!"
