  • Great for families!

"We had a WONDERFUL experience at "The Sandbar" in June of 2016. With three children under the age of 4, safety and cleanliness is key for us, and this house hit the mark. The house is beautifully decorated and very clean with comfortable furniture, nice bedding, and huge windows with a view of the lake from nearly every room. The kitchen is amazing, beautiful countertops, high end appliances and fully equipped with quality cookware and tons of dishes, utensils, cups, mugs, etc. The beach is fantastic and the water was so clear and clean, and shallow enough for little ones to play in without needing a life preserver on the entire time. Lots of toys and rafts available for our use, the whole family enjoyed outings in the paddle boat and even the little ones caught fish. We look forward to returning next year!"

  • Perfect cabin on the lake

"This place is what you imagine when you think of a lakeside retreat: a winding dirt road through the woods, a homey wood cabin with history in the walls, the sounds of the waves lapping on the shore outside your door. The owners were very accomodating about squeezing us in as a last minute replacement for a cancellation, and very friendly and helpful in our communications throughout. (Though they're so well-versed in renting this out, that there really isn't much need to get in touch once you're there.) You're well out of the way, but it's just a ten minute drive back to the heart of Wolfeboro village. There's a private, sandy crescent beach, with a wade out through a sandy cove, and water clear to the bottom even as you swim out to the platform. You're tucked in a nook midway up the eastern shore of the lake, with sun all afternoon and fantastic sunsets over the water. The kitchen is well supplied, and we cooked lunch and dinner on the grill almost every day. The family history is evident all around inside, with old pictures of the construction, knickknacks, driftwood discoveries and more peppered throughout the house; but you don't feel like an intruder, you feel like a welcome guest."

  • Beautiful, clean and ideal jumping off point in the Lakes Region

"The 2 bedroom town home is beautifully decorated, very clean and in the perfect location as a jumping off point to visit the many attractions in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. The views of Paugus Bay are spectacular. The units has everything you could need for a stay including the linens. As stated it is a two bedroom both have queen sized beds. There is also a pull out full sized bed in the living room. Grocery stores (Shaws and Hanneford's) are literally 2 minutes down the Rt 3 and Weirs Beach and the attractions there are literally a few minutes further up the road on Rt 3. Gunstock mountain is only 15 minutes away with its Zip Lines and Segway's in the summer. Castle in the Clouds was a short 35 minutes away. As stated this town home is a great jumping off point for all of the Lake Region and White Mountain attractions. We have absolutely no complaints as the owners Josefina and Luis were easy to deal with and only a phone call away. We would highly recommend this unit and the owners. We intend to come back next year for another week and will look to rent this unit again."

  • Picturesque, heavenly, very accommodating, cozy and relaxing!

"If you're looking to relax and forget the rest of the world, this cottage is perfect! The cottage has been updated, but still maintains the original look and feel of the knotty-pine Winnipesaukee cottages of the past. The path to the dock is very natural, and the sandy area is a great place to have your morning coffee. We did a lot of kayaking around the area coves, swam everyday, fished and in the late afternoon just hung out on tubes while floating around the cove. In the evening the deck was the perfect place for grilling and eating outside at the picnic table, with a fabulous view of the mountains. The porch was great for breakfast, or later evening board games. We saw lots of loons, (two right near the dock), an eagle, hummingbirds and caught fish as well! The dock is my favorite spot for reading, or diving off for a good swim! We'll be back and are so happy to have found a little piece of paradise!"
