  • September Sanctuary

"Long Beach Island is great post-season. Although the rip currents made it impossible to go into the ocean and it was too windy for the beach, we spent a lot of time in the bay waters, which were still warm. There is a bay beach and playground (great for small children) within walking distance (16th st), and it is a quick drive to Beach Haven for paddleboarding lessons. The house was so cozy and comfortable, and was set up well for 6 people to relax without feeling like we were stepping on top of each other. Not having to bring a high chair, pack n play, and toys from home were a plus since we had limited space in our car. Not to mention the awesome toy store (Haymarket) right on the corner! Thank you, we will be back."

  • Relaxing Beach Week

"Three generations shared this home for a wonderful week on LBI. There was plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 young children. It was convenient to have everything on one level. The house is well equipped with comfortable bedding, televisions in 3 bedrooms, updated baths, and a functional kitchen. We used the deck frequently for morning coffee and afternoon drinks and board games. The short walk to the steps leading over the dunes to the beach and the private lane was a "must-have" for the family with young children. Lovely neighborhood. No safety worries whatsoever. The owner (Jonathan) provided numerous beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and beach toys. The kids loved the outdoor shower. Our family likes the quietude of Harvey Cedars, yet we were fairly close to services in Surf City. Better than previous years when we rented further north. During our week we visited the lighthouse, had dinner at the Arlington and at Tucker's, ordered seafood from Boulevard Clams, had drinks at the Plantation, rode bikes, visited Fantasy Island, shopped all around, went to Sunset Park playground twice and of course enjoyed beach time. The beach was uncrowded and clean. Dolphins even passed by to entertain the grandkids! We look forward to returning next year. Jonathan was very easy to work with and very helpful."

  • Great beach house!

"My family and my friends family stayed here for a full week. The house was very clean and slept 10 very comfortably. The kitchen was well-equipped. We cooked dinner there almost every night. The grill outside was an added perk. The walk to the beach was perfect. Especially if you have young children. It's a short walk and there was no need to cross any streets. The beach was very clean too. In addition, there were stores walking distance from the house, which was ideal. The outdoor shower at the house was a life saver, and there was plenty of hot water too. Overall, we had a great experience with this house and would definitely book it again."

  • Excellent week

"We stayed the week of Labor Day and loved our visit. The beach is an easy walk away and both the end of the island and the town are nearby. It's in a quiet location and the accommodations provided all we needed. We hope to come back soon! Don't miss the sunsets over the bay. Gorgeous!"
