  • Perfect Property

"The Little Casita is the perfect property for a vacation in Taos. Unfortunately I was only there for 2 nights but they could not have been any better. The owner has thought of everything from any supplies you might need to a cover for the sunroof in the bedroom. The location is very safe and you can park your car right outside the door. Walk across the street and your at the plaza! Fantastic stay can't wait to go back."

  • Fun Ski Trip, Cozy home

"The house is walking distance from the town and it was cozy and decorated wonderfully. Property management was a pleasure to work with. Taos is a great place for a vacation and I will definitely be coming back and staying here. Ski, Art, Scenery, Hot Springs, Dining, Hiking. I wish I had more time!"

  • 2016 Retreat

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our fifth stay at this property and as before it was all it was advertised to be. The property is unique in location, design and views. All but two categories get a gold star. We had stayed in summer previously and the weather was always cool. This time the weather was not cool and the house is not air conditioned so temps got up to 90 degrees in the daytime inside. The house design incorporates steel roofing components that expand when hot and contract when cooling and the process results in "creaking and popping sounds late into the night. I would highly recommend the property for winter stays."

  • We made an Excellent choice !!

"Our stay at Casa de Siesta was positively one of the very best accommodations we have experienced in all of our travels. The 'casita' was very well furnished, and very well equipped with every item we would ever need! Richard was a most gracious host; he met us upon arrival, welcomed us warmly, and gave us a thorough tour of the "home" we would enjoy for 9 nights. There is an abundance of literature/brochures of places to see in and around the area, as well as a large selection of books and historical information on the Albuquerque & New Mexico area. Richard insisted that we contact him for anything we needed, or any questions we had at all. It is obvious that Richard takes pride in insuring his guests are well rested, and informed about things to do, or places to go. The casita's kitchen in particular, has every conceivable item that you could ever need. A very pleasant stay, and most comfortable accommodation. We are most happy that we chose Richard's "home away from home" for our visit to New Mexico."
