  • College Reunion for 6 Girlfriends

"What a great find. We were originally looking for a place near the plaza due to issues with a couple of girls not being able to walk long distances. We decided to go to 5 Vista Coyote instead and try to park close to the Plaza when visiting. We were quite surprised by how close we were to town and did not hesitate to jump into our rented Suburban to go to town or do some grocery shopping. We never had a problem finding parking spaces near the Plaza. Our group loved the house. It was huge and allowed for multiple seating areas for us to chat, either indoors or outdoors. Back porch had amazing views while side porch had weather protection when the nights were cooler. Great living room and dining room to sit as well. The kitchen was really well stocked as was the laundry accommodations when needed. Owner Connie sent us very detailed information on the house as well as the restaurants and things to do. We all felt that we would share this site with any friends visiting Santa Fe. I have been to several VRBO rentals and this one meets the high standards that I have come to love with VRBO."

  • Great location, cute house!

"Wendy and her team did an awesome job with accommodations! The house has a great layout and had a great kitchen to cook and stay home when its just too cold outside! The grill, fireplace, and hot tub turned our jet set vacation into relaxation! Centrally located, and with a close proximity to everything Santa Fe, thanks for the trip!"

  • Welcome Respite

"We stayed at this quaint adobe casita while visiting family in Santa Fe. It was a nice alternative to a hotel room. The hot tub was most welcome after long days of sightseeing and family get togethers. While we did not have much opportunity to cook at "home," the grill was very super-convenient and kitchen supplies well stocked. We found that the internet connection was intermittent; it was strong in the early morning and at night, but not so much during the in-between hours for some reason. I did notice a moderate sewer-like odor at times, but it didn't bother us enough to seek-out the home owners. The casita is adjacent to the main house, but that doesn't interfere with the casita's privacy. We met Angela only briefly, and she was kind enough to leave some fresh lettuce and arugula from her garden; very thoughtful and delicious. The highlight of our weekend was a 2-hour sunset horseback trail ride at Broken Saddle Riding Co. in Cerrillos, recommended by Jason. Getting out into the mountains on a horse will give you a wonderfully different perspective of the area. We definitely would stay at the casita again."

  • Unforgettable and a must stay.

"I'm going to fall short of words here, so please forgive me. Jean was incredibly attentive and helpful even prior to our journey, by making sure to give us directions that would save us an hour of drive time. We arrived to the sweetest little compound just after dark. The parking area was well lit and there were lights guiding us up a path to our new found home away from home. Although they are beautiful, the pictures don't do this space justice (sorry Marc). We walked into an incredibly spacious guesthouse, a gorgeous fireplace and the warmth of so many things. We truly felt like we were part of Lamy's history and home because of all of the wonderful amenities. This is a space that words and photography can't capture, you just have to show up, be present and take it all in. We're beyond grateful for our experience and the shared memories with this family, they are now part of our chosen tribe. Not only was a fantastic hike recommended, but we were also welcomed into their home, shared a lot of laughter and conversation. We even brought in the New Year over an amazing supper that Jean cooked. We miss everyone, look forward to getting back and being greeted by the sweetest Bella aka the compound mascot. It truly has been our favorite vacation and a great way to start our year. Thank you for hosting such a sweet space, welcoming us, we've now extended our family effortlessly. Please hug each other for us. Sending love from Texas, The Yarto Family"
