  • New Years Celebration

"Myself and 8 other friends celebrated New Years in Chris' wonderfully charming and cozy chalet. It was our first time renting out a cabin and I can't imagine a better first time experience. The chalet is exactly as described and even more amazing once seen in person. We stayed for 2 nights and I can say that this was the most memorable New Years experience I've had and all my friends truly enjoyed there time here. In regards to our 2nd day, the chalet was the perfect place to experience the Catskill Mountains for the first time and we enjoyed coming back to the chalet to cook dinner and relax after a beautiful and challenging hike on the Giant Ledge trail. Throughout the entire process of renting out the cabin, Chris was always available, answering all my inquiries and concerns. She was welcoming when we arrived but gave us our space. The amenities provided are ten-fold, in regards to linens and kitchenware; we had plenty of what we needed. You really don't need to bring any extra pillows, blankets, towels or kitchenware. The property is well maintained and beautiful with the snow, which was exciting for our group since we haven't seen snow all winter back in Brooklyn, NY. The only downside and it was due to the weather was that we were unable to utilize the grill and the fire pit, which gives us a reason to come back when the weather is warmer. I would recommend this place with no doubt that anyone who stays here will have a grand time."

  • Wonderful house, grounds and water

"My wife and I stayed here in July 2016 and never saw fit to leave the premises. The house and porch are beautifully built and decorated, extremely comfortable and have spectacular views. The sound of the waterfalls below is a soothing constant in the background. The bedrooms are warm., the bathrooms clean, and the country kitchen large and homey. The cable TV and internet worked very well. Hanging out in the rocks below and swimming in the water hole was wonderful. We will be back."

  • Cute cottage, private and serene

"Please Consider this a 4.5 star review, as our stay was nearly perfect. The property itself is great. It feels very private. There is a huge backyard, a great grill and fire pit as well as a beautiful deck. There is a house about 300 feet away that is visible when you pull up to the front of the house. Once inside and in the backyard, though, you wouldn't even know it's there because it's hidden by the surrounding trees and shrubbery. Inside the house, there's a medium size flat screen tv and a good DVD collection for when you want to relax. Paul was very friendly and considerate in our email conversations. His welcome guide was very thorough and proved to be very helpful during our stay. You definitely get the sense that he really cares about his guests. Overall the cottage has everything you need for a quiet weekend away from the city."

"Best stay ever. George was such a pleasure to work with. He went out of his way to accommodate us. The grounds and premises were perfect for our very large group. Adults and children enjoyed all amenities. We are looking forward to going back!"
