  • Excellent family vacation spot!!

"Our family had a wonderful, quiet, relaxing week at this cottage. Pictures shown are very accurate. Owners are fantastic. It is very clean and neat. The dock is huge and sturdy, excellent gathering place for the family for the week. Cottage is very accessible to fruit stands, restaurants, and ice cream stands. We will be visiting again soon."

  • long weekend reTREAT

"We decided that we wanted a weekend get-a-way, and within minutes we were booked! Everything from booking, to the time Martha met us at the marina, went very smoothly. We arrived on Friday afternoon, called Scott & he had Martha to us within MINUTES! She took us by pontoon to the cottage where there was wine and cheese (and a bubbling hot tub!) waiting for us- it was pure relaxation for the entire weekend. Upon arrival Martha helped us get our things to the cottage, we grilled up some salmon (on the VERY clean grill), hopped in the hot tub and enjoyed the rest of our evening watching the sunset over Lake Ontario and drank some wine. (the hot tub is RIGHT on the water!!) We realized that my husband forgot to pack the eggs and Martha graciously offered to go to the camp and get some for us. The next day we watched the sun rise over the bay, took the motor boat to Sodus (to get some eggs), fished from the dock while drinking mimosas, took the paddle boat out for a spin, had a bon fire and then settled into the hot tub for another beautiful sunset! The next morning while on the Lake Ontatrio beach, my husband made the comment that "wouldn't it be awesome to see a bald eagle fly over and grab a fish out of the lake"--literally 5 seconds later a bald eagle flew 20 ft over our heads out over the lake! God is good! Although we chose to be completely isolated for relaxation, there are a few restaurants and pubs that you can get to by boat (during the light hours). The cottage was very clean. We had everything that we needed: lots of towels, pots, pans, spices etc. When we called to be picked up for our departure Martha told us that since no one else was renting the cottage for the next night she would let us stay one night for free--unfortunately we had to be back to work so we declined. They were the most gracious hosts that we've ever dealt with! Good people!!! We will DEFINITELY be back!!"

  • Wonderful Great Lake Vacation

"We arrived at Quiet Waters on July 25th for a weeks stay. The cottage is simply adorable. Love the sunroom and the big windows looking out onto the deck and lake. Just perfect! Sweet flowers and landscaping topped off this adorable place. Very relaxing and not too far from Sodus Point for restaurants and some shops. Big plus were the kayaks. Two kayaks await for adventure! We kayaked the entire bay and Chimney Bluff as well!!!! Kayaking anytime you like is awesome!!!!! The landlords are amazing to work with. THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS!!!!!"

  • A Great Family Weekend!!!

"We had a great time celebrating my parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary. The location was beautiful as well as the weather. Martha is so friendly and helpful. The kids had a blast. The trip was too short. We hated to leave. I recommend going for a week. Thank you Scott and Martha for helping us create a great weekend for my parents!!"
