  • EXCELLENT summer stay

"This June we rented the farmhouse for the second time around because we loved the property so much! The home is just far enough from the city to feel like you've really gotten away, but is only a 2 hour train ride. The farmhouse is so charming and comfortable, with lots of great outdoor space for relaxing. We especially loved the great big front porch for a dining, relaxing, and sitting by the fire on a chilly evening. The backyard is also spacious and fenced in, great for our pup. Would definitely recommend!"

  • Wonderful stay!!

"Wonderful, secluded property makes you feel completely tucked away, surrounded by nothing than the beautiful outdoors. Helen is as professional as could be and did everything to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The house is very clean and taken care of and central to to East Hampton and the village of Sag Harbor. Looking forward to visiting again!"

  • Location, Location, the beach!

"This was our first time renting a cottage in Montauk as opposed to staying in a hotel. We went with another couple and wanted a place with our own bedrooms with a comfortable common area so that we could eat, hang out and talk and this cottage met the criteria. It was also a short walk to the beach and very secluded from the main road. Alison was there to meet us when we got there and was very helpful with any questions or additional needs that we had. It was clean and quaintly decorated. From what I am told, a lot of the cottages built for only summer use in the similar price range are on the older side, with a rustic feel, and dank smell to them, as was this one. There were 2 bedrooms. The master had a comfortable king size bed, high ceilings and big windows that let in the early light. There were no room darkening shades. So, if you are able to sleep in a fully brightened room it shouldn’t be a problem. There was also a nest or 2 of baby birds living under the roof. Not sure when they leave the nest for good but they tended to get up and started chirping around sunrise (5am) which made sleeping soundly after 5am in the master bedroom a little challenging. The other bedroom was smaller (b/ still a good size) with only 1 window and shades that blocked out the sun. I know that a lot of people prefer a firm/hard mattress but I would consider bringing a foam mattress topper for additional comfort. The kitchen had all the amenities that we needed for our stay and the living room area was very inviting and comfortable. One last thing that didn’t take away from the amazing time we had but did prove to be a bit of an annoyance was the amount of flies that were in the house. When the windows were left open to take advantage of the fresh air/breezes, it appeared that they came in though the small holes in the screens. Needless to say, the fly swatter came in very handy "

  • Wonderful

"We had such an amazing time at Leslie's beautiful home. The proximity to town and the gorgeous water views, with so many outdoor balconies made this vacation ideal. All the rooms were decorated beautifully, with pretty bed linens, spreads, and pillows. The large open living area was so relaxing and Leslie kept the house stocked with whatever we needed: towels, toiletries, coffee, bottles of water, bikes, movies, books, games, etc. The hot tub was also a plus. We would love to stay again sometime. You have a little slice of heaven right here in Montauk. I will recommend this vacation home to everyone, even though I want to keep it for myself. :-)"
