  • Heavenly Perfection

"We have stayed in cabins all over the western part of North Carolina and eastern part of Tennessee, and I have to say, this is one that we will definitely be back to. It wasn't the fanciest one, or the largest, or the one with the best mountain views. But it was gorgeous, and peaceful, and we had private nature trails on which to hike, with seating hidden all along the trails. There is one perch high above the cabin, where you can watch the sunrise in the valley, overlooking yonder mountains. I thoroughly enjoyed the hammock below the fish pond. My daughter loved feeding the fish from the stash on the porch. The waterfall was lit so you could still see it at night. The fire pit along the waterfall was relaxing. I could have spent days there without ever leaving the cabin. Firewood was provided for the fireplace. Our girl loved the daybed (with trundle) up in the loft. We were there to visit nearby Stone Mountain, but it was also just an hour's drive to Pilot Mountain, and Mt. Airy, which we also visited. Bed was fairly comfortable. The cabin had a nice smell to it, and there were plenty of candles for atmospheric lighting. Cable and WiFi worked wonderfully. We cannot wait to return."

  • Great vacation home!

"The kitchen was well equipped. The large deck was a great gathering place for early morning coffee while the kids played and evening conversations after the heat of the day. The floating dock was great for fishing and swimming. Overall, we had a fantastic vacation."

  • Breathtaking views,peaceful and comfortable

"We recently spent 5nights at Stone Mountain Serenity and we're impressed with the home. One of the best homes we have rented! Relaxing with a cup of coffee every morning on the deck and a glass of wine after a day of hiking. The views are more spectacular in person. We enjoyed exploring the immediate area, saw wild turkeys, deer, blue birds and found blackberry bushes! We found the beds and furniture quite comfortable. The kitchen was generally well stocked. Ample dishes and silverware. The only item I truly missed was 13X9 casserole pan. Meal planning is essential as the nearest store is at least 30 minutes away. We found the driveway easy to navigate if upon leaving head to the right and down the road where there is space to turn around."

  • The scenes from the property were beautiful.

"The home was very beautiful. All the amenities were as described. The property was very clean. The house could have been a little more maintained. While looking for the boys toys under the beds and so forth we did run up on underwear, socks and trash in some of the dressers but overall the place was very well kept. We had a few problems with the Wi-Fi but the owner was so helpful and also the changed the code for the entrance and had to call but was very helpful to us. We took our 2 Great Grandsons and 2 Granddaughters and It is a trip that they will never forget. So much to do around the area if you look for it. Saw Grandfather Mountain and rode the Blue Ridge Parkway and did hiking while we driving on the parkway. Didn't eat out so can't say about any of the restaurants. We all loved the waterfall and the fishing pond. I would recommend this property to anyone. Thinking about going back there ourselves next year."
