  • Location , location , location ! Clean beautiful home near downtown Hendersonville . Perfect .

"The home had a beautiful view and the owner, Beth, was so kind . The house was spotless, I have never stayed in a cleaner , neater home that we have rented from VRBO . The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook a meal and there was a nice gas grill on the deck . I enjoyed just sitting on the front deck and watching the birds and squirrels . Sunsets were amazing . Grocery stores were close by . Lots of interesting books and movies were provided . We went with our adult children and enjoyed downtown Hendersonville , Brevard, Looking Glass Falls ,Sliding Rock, and hikes near the falls . Toured Burnsthirt Winery and even visited the Saint Paul Winery twice . Much to my surprise , I really enjoyed the Haunted Farm. The best part for the guys was the fly fishing trip . They had a great guide named Brandon Barber from River Blade Knife and Fly. His shop is located in Spartanburg SC but he does private trips in the Pisquah area. We were a little late for picking apples but enjoyed the Sky Top Orchard and the Justus Orchard. Sky Top makes a big production out of their business . Lots of things to do there besides pick apples . We missed out on the Flat Rock Playhouse this time but have enjoyed their plays in the past. The Blue Ridge Parkway and the Pisquah Inn are also near this home and are great choices for a day trip. The leaves had not peaked in Hendersonville yet but the foliage was still beautiful . Many thanks to the owners for sharing their home . There were so many fun things to do so close to the location ."

  • Gorgeous

"This is a beautiful, comfortable, well-equipped home with breath-taking views. There is nothing negative to say about this. The owners are most accommodating and easy to contact."

  • This cabin is "top shelf". A home away from home.

"To be honest, at first we were worried about the location? Honestly we did not know there was a road between the cabin and the river. Road did have some traffic at times during the day and we were worried about our kids there. After settling in the "mountain life" took over. We had the time of our lives for the next week at the cabin. The sounds of the rolling river, nights by the fire on the porch, board/card games with the family, meals on the grill. And all these things are right there. Rosman is a great little town, close enough if you want to shop in Brevard or explore parks in the area, and far enough for you to feel "away". Waterfall tour is a must! Craig Miller was one of the best guys I have ever met. He made the trip and what he showed us was truly amazing. On our own we did Sliding Rock at Pisgah and looking glass falls. Went to Dupont forest and Cedar Mountain. Did gem mining and river tubing at Bear Creek. Horseback riding at Pisgah stables. At the cabin we went fly fishing every morning, caught my first trout right in front of the cabin. My son caught a smaller fish down the east fork a bit. Even had our own tubes to ride down the river by the cabin. We had a busy week and still had time to relax. The owner Jim and I only spoke on the phone a couple times, but he was very helpful and informative. He will answer all the questions you have and was very nice. My family thanks you and so do I."

  • Relaxing and peaceful.

"PROS- We went there for our family vacation with our 2 boys and one of their friends. We wanted to stay in this area to hike waterfalls, etc. The lodge had beautiful craftsmanship. We sat on the front porch alot and it was very peaceful. We also sat at the table alot spending quality time with our boys playing Uno and Monopoly. Brent/owner was always helpful when we had questions/concerns. He would call and would jump in on any requests or concerns we had. It was a great place to stay and we enjoyed our peaceful vacation at Brent's lodge. CONS- We had some issues with fruit flies in the kitchen. We made sure to wrap everything well. Also the kitchen sink had low water pressure- but we made due."
