  • Everything we could have asked for was there.

"We were very pleased with our stay at this lovely home. From the moment we stepped through the front door and put on the provided slippers we knew that this placed was loved. Children will love the special place, a nook just for them, and games, books and many things to keep them entertained. The adults too will find many choices, books, movies and games. We played same game every night and hardly turned on the tv. We did cook most of our meals and the kitchen was well appointed with lots of pots, pans and dishes. Even spices and condiments were there. There was no dishwasher which wasn't a problem. A desk with good wifi was a popular seat for my son who needed to keep up with business. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the area and especially the wonderful state parks. Our contact with the owner was readily available and we appreciated his contacts. It was obvious that this was a place filled with love of nature, books and family. We are glad we chose the Whale's Nook."

  • Great beach house for large group

"The house is exactly as depicted in the photos. We had six adults and two children in our party, with space for all of us to gather and private spaces to get some quiet time. Well stocked and beautifully furnished. We enjoyed access to the pool. The location is excellent, directly across from the playground and near the fire pit. The stair access to the beach was not practical for the little ones, but there is public beach access a few blocks away with parking and restrooms. The only issue we had was wi-fi access. It was too slow to stream video, and finally stopped working. Loved this place and would highly recommend it."

  • Home away from home!

"We really enjoyed our stay. It had everything we needed. The house was immaculate, the beds were comfortable and it was very cozy. It was an easy walk to the beach and an extremely quiet neighborhood. Overall great experience and no complaints. Would definitely stay there again!"

  • Annies House, Waldport, Oregon

"Our family had a WONDERFUL time at Annie's House in Waldport, Oregon. The house was perfect for us and so well supplied with everything we could possibly need. As we entered we could see directly out to the ocean...How Beautiful!!! The house was immaculate and all of the information from where to visit in the area to where the local grocery store is was right at our fingertips. When visiting in October the weather can be a challenge but we were fortunate to have just a couple of days of bad weather in which we still had an outdoor covered deck to still be on. We visited Newport, Cape Prepetua and Florence during our stay. We were also able to watch the Chicago Cubs playoff game and the Presidential Debate. The very best part was being totally comfortable with our son and his 21 month old Labrador puppy who absolutely loved being able to run on the beach!!! The home does need a few updates but nothing that would prevent us from wanting to stay there again in a heartbeat!!!! Created PRICELESS MEMORIES....Thank-you Annie!!!"
