  • Beautiful House and Location

"We usually book a trip to the Oregon coast once a year. this is the first time we stayed on the bay. It was very peaceful and quiet. Our kids enjoyed the beach and I had peace of mind a rogue wave wasn't going to carry them away! The house is very nice, one of the nicest we have stayed in , especially for the price. Wall of windows is beautiful and we enjoyed reading in the chairs with a view. Owner is very nice and responsive , we had no issues. We did spend a fortune at the Bay House ($165 for dinner) and the food was terrible. I recommend Mo's! It's not fancy but at least it tastes good and you will save 100 bucks."

  • Great Location - Questionable conduct of upstairs residents

"The place was clean, comfortable with a spectacular location, everything we were hoping for when we booked the reservation which was only one night. The only downside is the neighbors upstairs, I believe they are permanent residents & by the comment book left in the room left me questioning behavior. Several wrote about elephants stomping through the night & having liquids thrown down on them while they were outside. For our experience, they must not have been home that night because we didn’t hear a thing. We didn’t have anything thrown down on us, however about 2 hours before checkout our deck that previously dry, had a specific wet section just outside the sliding door (not rain). At first we thought, possibly they were getting into their hot tub and the liquid came off their cover, which would make sense, however when I looked up to check, physics didn’t calculate. It looked as though they opened their sliding door and just poured a bucket of “whatever” out their door, through the deck down onto our deck. Thank goodness none of us were outside, as with all the comments, they don’t make sure they won’t hit anyone. What makes me question is why they couldn’t step a few more feet to pour in the grass, or if it truly was water, what was wrong with their pluming. I wasn’t going to get close to it to check."

  • Relaxing week stay

"We stayed for a week in this lovely home mid-April & found the home to be very well stocked with kitchen utensils, towels & bedding. We got to experience a storm and watched from the picturesque windows to 91 degree temps sitting on the private deck. We also had 2 great dinners at the Side Door cafe and There is a beautiful family run nursery to spend your time in. Very comfy beds and spotless bathrooms, highly recommend if you are looking to get away and want to be near the beach."

  • Great house for large family with easy access to the beach!

"Great vacation home. Room for large family and short walk to the beach. We enjoyed the gas fireplace and the arrival and departure directions were very helpful. Could hear the ocean from the house, loved that. Add Garbage day (Friday) to the instructions. The can was full when we arrived so we were glad to get it emptied. The fire pit is pretty broken down, that was a little disappointing, compared to how it was described. The folding chairs came in very handy. Those pipes in the kitchen sink that scream should really be fixed. A BBQ that could be kept in a shed would be a great enhancement. Great house, great location, we love Gleneden Beach. We will be back!!"
