  • True to it's title!!

"We enjoyed our stay here very much! It truly was cozy and we loved being inside while the rain and wind storm raged outside! The all wood cabin was nice and clean and it felt like being in someone's home; very inviting. Beautiful ocean views, especially from the loft bed! All the beds were comfortable to sleep on and the cabin was well stocked for our comfort. The only thing we found missing were paper towels/napkins. I'm not sure if they normally have them or not, but maybe bring some just in case. We bought some and were all set. The wifi worked great. It is a perfect spot for a get away. We alternated between playing games and cooking meals at the cabin, to getting out on the beach in our rain gear, exploring and hunting for agates. We have always loved the off the beaten path feeling of Oceanside. It is near enough to Tillamook if you need anything, but it really has a nice local community kind of atmosphere. I would recommend this place for every season! The owners were wonderful and really took the time to communicate well. They've even compiled a packet with all the info you might need, including pictures and local activities! I was really impressed with the care they have put into their home and how they care for vacationers. They even trusted us to clean up on our own so we could avoid an extra fee! We would most definitely return here if we ever get the chance!"

  • Great fit for one family, but tight fit for two.

"It's always a toss up when you rent a house without seeing it first. We had two families so four adults and seven kids ranging in ages from 5-17. Our first impression was good. Cute and quaint. Kitchen and dining area with long table were great. Living areas and main bedroom and two of the bathrooms were nice. However, the upstairs space is tight. My husband and I along with our three older kids (11, 14, 17) stayed in the upstairs room. Very tight squeeze and plan on bonking your head a few times. Two outer beds were comfy but the middle bed was rough. It was convenient to have a bathroom upstairs (no shower just tub) but the toilet is in the middle of the room. Your knees hit the wall when you use it. Bottom line is we wouldn't stay again with two families but it would work well for one with a lot of smaller kids. Location was nice and beach was great. I'm a clean freak and in my opinion it was pretty clean other than dusty shelves. Kitchen and house (blankets etc) had good supplies. Property management was helpful and attentive."

  • Great View!!!

"The view from the deck is SPECTACULAR!!! You can see all the way down the bay. The house is well layed out and the kitchen is well appointed. The only downsides I can see are the small, old TV, horribly uncomfortable couches, and the tinted windows make it very difficult to see outside unless its midday and the sun is bright. But despite all of that, I would definitely stay again, if for no other reason than the view."
