  • Weekend getaway

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We traveled from ND to visit our daughter, she had some surgery, so we thought it would be a great place to take her to relax for the weekend. It was just what we all needed. Beautiful surroundings ocean waves and sandy beach. Thank you for letting us stay and make treasures memories."

  • Another amazing stay at Sandcroft

"Our third stay at Sandcroft Beach House was as great as ever. The wall of windows and wraparound deck, huge, well-stocked kitchen, dining table large enough for elaborate meals and hours of games, comfortable beds and furniture, and that fabulous fireplace (sorry we used so much of your lovely dry wood)...the house absorbs people into its nooks and crannies for quiet time and privacy, and then provides these amazing public spaces for togetherness. Some spent hours walking on the beach, and others of us could barely bring ourselves to leave the house. Tracy is wonderful, communicative, and accommodating, and the house feels like a real house, and not a typical rental, e.g. good TP, a clean grill and plenty of propane, cozy throw blankets, real art and carpets.... We can't wait for next year. (And this, a group of four couples, who travel often and NEVER rent the same place twice.)"

"Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall our stay was wonderful. We love coming to the Breakers with our friends (for the past 6 years). We are very concerned about the price going up. We used to come several times a year, but with the daily rate along with all the misc fees we are doubtful we can do it much longer, which deeply saddens us. The price is the only thing stopping me from rating you a 5 on everything. During this stay we found ants in the bedroom, peeling wallpaper in the bathroom and dirty windows in the living room"

  • Nice newer Duplex with view and amenities

"My wife and I enjoyed this home for our honeymoon. The view is fantastic, very clean, decent bed, furniture, flat screen t.v. and gas fireplace. There were a few negatives that I feel you should be aware of though. This is a duplex, so your quality might change depending on weather the next door rental is rented to a decent group or not. Unfortunately, our neighbors (same management company) were a bunch of college kids who decided to party until 3:00 am. It literally sounded like they were throwing furniture around or something. When I called the management company the next day they did take note and apologized since they supposedly have a strict "no party policy", though I have no idea how they enforce that. The other major negative was lack of privacy. Those beautiful views you can see from the living room.... also are perfect for people viewing "you" since there are no drapes or blinds to close. So we were pleasantly surprised by a couple guys (frat boys from next door) walking around the front of our side of the property. The duplex does not have any demarcation to separate the properties so there is no way to prevent this invasion of privacy from occurring. Once the frat boys left it was a paradise of quiet seclusion and relaxation since no one else came Sunday night through Wednesday. My recommendation would be to rent out both sides and share this place with friends. The appliances are decent, although the stove top seems to only have the ability to be on "low" except for one burner that is stuck on "high". The master bedroom on the main floor is wonderful, especially the ability to walk out the porch and hop into the hot tub that also has a view of the ocean. There is a very nice master bathroom with Jacuzzi bathtub which could fit two, and my wife just loved the sandblast level water pressure in the shower (lol, me not so much). Overall nice place. Wasn't the best first couple days, but thankfully the 3rd and 4th nights were very pleasant. Like others have said, this house is not good for small kids, the walk to the beach is long and would be best if you just drive. But for me and my wife, we didn't mind since we just enjoyed the view from the bluff and we then drove 15 minutes to Pacific City for beach time and to grab some food/groceries. Overall scores of property: CLEANLINESS/MAINTENANCE 9/10 - FAMILY FRIENDLY 7/10 - VIEW 10/10 - PRIVACY 5/10 - AMENITIES 8/10 - BEACH ACCESS 4/10"
