  • A grand vacation!

"This was our first visit to the southern Oregon coast after spending 20 plus vacations further north. What a treat this area was! The condo is perfect - just as advertised. The views were awesome - we could see both Crescent City lighthouses blinking at us on reasonably clear nights. Brookings is close enough to CA that you can get into Jedediah Smith Redwood Park within an hour and let your jaws drop as you drive the gravel road that was recommended to us - thousands of towering, huge redwoods. The Oregon Coast Trail has many great hikes on it in the area. We loved everything about our stay. One added bonus - we got the email saying our damage deposit had been refunded even before we reached our home state of Montana! Very efficient owner and site. We will be back."

  • Spectular birdseye view

"The loft is a perfect hideaway/getaway. The owners are friendly and helpful. The place is spacious, quiet and clean. The bed was very comfortable. It was a great place for my husband and I to relax and enjoy the magnificent view of the Pacific ocean. The Wi-Fi worked great and the Netflix was nice to have available. The woodstove kept us warm and the washer and dryer worked nicely. The drive up to the loft is enjoyable and you get to see a different side of Brookings, lots of trees and wildlife. This is a wonderful place to stay and the price is unbelievable. Thank you so much for sharing your oasis with us."

  • Very friendly and welcoming

"Ken was amazing to work with booking his home. He was very welcoming of us and our dog. Unfortunately we were not able to stay but his authenticity and kindness permeated through the emails. Without hesitation I would stay at his home if we have a trip to Brooking in the future."

  • nice location

"Casey, the owner is very easy to work with. The home was very well kept for an older home. It had many things that are very appealing to families with children; game room with pool, air hockey, pin ball machines and many more. Also they have lots of things for little children too, games, toys and lots of movies. The beds were very comfortable. The only downside was it needed more SHOWERS. If you have alot of people at the home most people prefer to shower. Their is one shower downstairs and a bathtub upstairs. No one used the tub, most adults use showers. Also it would have been great to have an dishwasher. We seen one in the play room but it was unable to hook up to kitchen sink as they did not match up to line up for water supply. So we used lots of paper plates. Although they had many dishes for you to cook and make a great meal. We walked to the marina every night and watched the sun set on the ocean. Brookings has the most beautiful beaches on the Oregon Coast. We also made a day trip to the Redwoods in California. You are not very far from them at this location. They were majestic and worth the short drive. All in all we had a wonderful time and we appreciate Casey for letting us use his home."
