  • Super place!

"Spectacular views. Great condo with everything we needed. We liked that the parking was so close to the condo and the condo was all one level. Grocery shopping in town was excellent and very close. My husband enjoyed a fantastic day of fishing on the Chetco River (catch and release salmon, kept a 19 lb. steelhead). Easy drive down the coast to the amazing redwood forests. Abundant hiking trails up and down the coast. We stayed for almost 3 weeks and we would have loved to stay longer! Great place!!!"

  • Incredibly Satisfied!

"In early September, 2016 my family and I (5 adults, 1 3 yr old) had the opportunity to stay at this property. I tell you, the pictures do NOT do this place justice! The outside at first resembles most normal houses. Nice, neat, clean, sweet and quaint looking. THAN.... you walk inside and are immediately "awww" struck! The house inside is gorgeous! The view is out of this world... Plenty of room for my large family and the house had everything you needed. Loved sitting at the table every moring (or on the large deck outside) sipping coffee and looking at the gorgeousness of the Pacific. The ONLY downside was they are not able to have a gas/charcoal grill due to still being in city limits. However they do have an electric stand up George Forman grill to use outside. Does the job in a pinch! There is not however a direct path to the beach from this property. You REALLY want for there to be, but there isn't one made yet. If you walk a few short blocks, you will find another private access to Harris Beach. It's a steep hill, with a handful of stairs and rocks to walk thru to get to the beach, but is very, very much worth it. It is a gorgeous beach. Beautiful rock formations, tide pools, and tons of beach combing to be had. My toddler was in heaven! (As was her momma). Brookings is the perfect little sea side town that isn't full of tourists. It has a Fred Meyers which houses every sort of thing you may need. A Dutch Bro coffee shop just a few miles from the house. Excellent coffee! Also a cute little florist shop not far from the Fred Meyers that has cute little trinkets and fun gifts to buy and take back home. Less than an hour away is the National Redwood Forest just across the CA boarder. Hwy 101.... can't describe it! If you get a chance to stay here, you will NOT be disappointed... Hoping we get to come back again someday... ~From land locked South Dakota... :)"

  • Excellent view, clean and quiet

"I had an excellent stay with my boyfriend in this cozy little spot - everything was as expected. Clean, well equipped kitchen. Quiet location with spectacular views of the ocean. Brookings is a great jumping-off point for hiking on the coast trail and has a few good restaurants."
