  • Happy to find our dream cabin on the water!

"We celebrated a memorable wedding anniversary on muddy Creek in this rustic cabin. We were greeted by a gorgeous bald eagle, had fun kayaking to the cabin and enjoyed making a bonfire every evening. Our host Bill was available to provide dry firewood and whatever else we needed. We rarely go back to the same place twice but we both agree this little cabin will be our new exception. We are already planning our next trip back!"

  • Absolutely wonderful!

"My family stayed in the Storybook Cottage two weeks ago for our weekend trip to Hershey. We have a 4 year old and a 5 month old. To say that the cabin is well-stocked for families would be an understatement. It had absolutely everything we needed: immaculate pack n play, booster seat, baby gates, plastic cups and plates, etc. The kitchen had everything you could possibly think of: all pots and pans, utensils, even staples like coffee, flour, sugar, and olive oil. The interior was supremely clean and very comfortable. The cabin had all upgrades, yet was rustic enough to be truly unique and fun. Staying in the Campmeeting with a family was wonderful. We could go on rural walks, oogle the other cottages, relax on the porch, and the playground on 3rd street was spectacular. We would absolutely recommend the Storybook Cottage to other travelers, young couples, older couples, and certainly families. I look forward to staying there again!"

  • Clean, Comfortable, Restful

"Stephanie and Ed were very kind and very accommodating to our small family and dog. The cabin/apartment has alot of character, with low beamed ceilings in one room, but not an issue for us (only if you are over 6 feet). The bathroom was large, with a great shower and tub, and a variety of body washes and shampoos my teen daughter was thrilled about. The toilet is contained in its own private enclosure, so more people can use the bathroom if needed. The beds were firm and comfortable. We slept so well! Stephanie makes a delicious breakfast ,with local ingredients . Both Stephanie and Ed are very helpful in directing to different sites and activities in Lancaster County and beyond. The Susquehanna River is only 6 miles away. We got to Hershey in 50 minutes. We would stay here again. They really care about your comfort."

  • Great holiday getaway

"Our family wanted to get get away for Christmas and this home was perfect for us. It had everything we needed to make us feel as if it were our second home. It was only one block from shops and restaurants yet it felt like we were in the country. John was always available, helpful and accommodated us when we needed a little extra time to check out. We will definitely return."
