  • Beautiful home

"We enjoyed our stay at Open House in the Smokies. The home is lovely and well located. We had a wonderful time exploring the area and are already ready to return. Thank you so much!"

  • Nice famiy stay

"We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Not little (16 month old) child friendly, but I don't believe any cabin is due to multiple stories. We made it work and had a great trip! 10-15 minutes from the commercialism and a nice mountain view!"

  • Very nice cabin, great location!

"The cabin is very nice and well maintained. We were a little disappointed with the "well stocked" kitchen. Didn't have any spices, and the pots and pans were not big enough to make more than 2 eggs at a time. We loved the pool table, it was great entertainment on the rainy day."

  • Vacationing in an Arcade

"Our family (Mom, Dad, and five children ranging from 1 to 13) stayed in this cabin for a week and loved it! Our biggest complaint was the fitted sheet in the master bedroom would not stay in place which made sleeping uncomfortable. The furniture is different than in the pictures. There is plastic theater seating in the basement with the projector, not plush recliners as shown. The living room furniture is also different; not as fancy as what is shown. The woods around the cabin have grown up so that the best view is from the 2nd floor rear windows. The hot tub worked, but is on a different side of the rear porch. The basement is only accessible by going through the master bedroom, outside on a deck, and down a spiral staircase. I would only allow older kids to sleep down there. The games were fun, especially the 80s arcade game with Ms Pac Man, Donkey Kong, Galaga, and about 25 others. They do have some steak knives now, in case you were worried. We had an issue with the projector bulb and a bulb above the cook top. Both were repaired the same day by very courteous and friendly maintenance staff. The roads are scary; they taught me why vehicles have low gears. I used Low 1 and 2 gears in our van while going up or down the steep hills. We saw a mamma bear and three cubs outside the cabin one morning which made the trip for our kids."
