  • The cabin is cute, comfy and clean.

"Pleasant run is in a good location, relatively close to pigeon forge and gatlinburg and all the entertainment they offer. The cabin itself is part of a small community but also seems secluded and private because of the view. We had a great vacation and we were very happy with our accommodations!"

  • Home Away From Home - Just Loved It! Great Times!

"Riverside Retreat log cabin was a delight to stay at. The cabin was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. If you are the type of person that enjoys a peaceful mountain stay, yet want to be near great dining, fun attractions, wonderful shopping, and hiking, biking, and outdoor activities, then this is the perfect place for you. Described as one of the most fantastic locations in Pigeon Forge, Riverside Retreat Cabin is located just minutes from the Pigeon Forge Parkway, Dollywood, The Old Mill, Titanic Museum, Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster, Parrot Mountain & Gardens, The Coaster at Goats on the Roof, dinner theaters and all of the sites and attractions for which the area is famous. A days trip to Cades Cove is another fantastic adventure being just a bit over an hour away in which you can take the 11 mile scenic loop drive through the Great Smoky Mountain park where you will see amazing mountain landscapes, wildflower meadows and diverse wildlife including white tail deer, coyote, elk, fox and black bears. We enjoyed all the amenities that made for a wonderful Smoky Mountain vacation. The indoor jacuzzi tub, wood burning fireplace, BBQ grill, pool table, dart board, board games and much more! The outside firepit located on the property was a great family night telling jokes and stories while the children roasted marshmallows. The Little Pigeon River is a hop, skip and a jump located directly across the street from the cabin. Great place to relax and take beautiful scenic photos. Riverside Retreat Cabin is a two level home with three full baths which can comfortably accommodate 6 to 9 guests. On the top level there is a king bed in the master bedroom, a double bed and a single bed in another bedroom that will accommodate 5 guests. On the lower level there is a queen bed and another pull out queen bed in the den that can accommodate 4 more guests. Two decks allow you to view the Smoky Mountains, one on the top level and one on the lower level. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did. We will definitely be renting this cabin again in the very near future. ENJOY!"

  • What else can I say!

"We just left Tuesday and really what else can I say? This was the cleanest cabin that we have ever stayed in. The manager is very nice and she makes sure everything is great. She calls to make sure that we have arrived and got inside the cabin ok and that everything is ok. We really enjoyed the extras and especially candy for Halloween! The view from the cabin is great! I enjoyed the rocking chairs on the BIG deck and they even have a spare propane tank just in case the one on the grill goes out. I rented the cabin because of the reviews and then I called Susan and talked to her on the phone about this cabin and the other cabins she has, We made the right decision. I have even called her and made reservations for next year in this cabin. We can't wait to come back! Thank you so much for the hospitality. Mountain Splendor is the best!"
