  • The Smokey's lodge was a great place to stay !

"It was the 1st time we have ever rented a cabin, and it was awesome! The place was very clean and up to date and Alicia was a great host and made sure we always had what we needed. If you are on the hunt for a great place in pigeon forge, TN. This is the place to rent for sure!!! KM"

  • We just want to thank you as we loved our stay at big bear cabin!

"The cabin photos were fabulous but seeing it in person was amazing. very clean, spacious and the decor is so fitting for a log cabin! So many great detail went into the decorating, furniture ect. The hot tub worked great, kitchen well stocked and cozy fireplace was so easy to use with a touch of a button! We love that our 2 dogs got to join us as they are also our family and they had a great time.the ease of making a reservation was nice, lady on phone very professional ! Your price and what you offer beat all others out that we looked at and believe me we did our research! Probably hundreds of cabins . We give you 5 stars!Location was the best, nice quit small country town with so many neat unique shops and a close drive to pigeon forge and gatlinburg. The only things maybe to point out is that the drive was steep getting up to cabin and with a 4 cylinder made me nervous and cabin was ltold had fire pit but was a really small man made one in the back, we took it upon ourselves to fix that by hauling large rocks and expanding circle even bringing over stumps to sit on, we made it fun and did together and enjoyed nice fire that night! Thanks again, we will be getting married there next year and looking forward to coming back"

  • Great spot for a family vacation

"Family of 5, including 2 teens ages 15 and 18 and a pre-teen age 12 . Had a great time at this cabin, The front deck is amazing with view straight across to the pool. Sitting out and having coffee and conversation were great parts of this stay. Close enough to Veterans parkway and Teaster lane to allow for less time spent on travel from destination to destination as well. The cabin was clean and well stocked with anything needed for cooking. Board games and books stocked at the cabin as well. The hot tub was nice as well as the jacuzzi tub in the master. Bathrooms were spacious as well. Great location on a great lot with flat parking in the back of the cabin as well. Owner was super to work with and very responsive as well. Great spot for families to get away and relax and re-connect."

  • Awesome Weekend Getaway!

"My husband and our two children stayed at Avalon Ridge over a long weekend to celebrate my birthday. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! The cabin was immaculate and stocked with all the amenities of home. The fireplaces were very nice. We used them for both family time in the living room and as a romantic setting in the bedroom. We thoroughly enjoyed the games provided in the chest and we relaxed in the hot tub under the stars. Avalon Ridge was secluded enough for plenty of privacy, yet close to both downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. While visiting, we enjoyed Wonderworks museum, shopping on the Island, and the Gatlinburg strip. Also, there is a community center within a couple of miles from the cabin that offered swimming, bowling and other recreational activities for extremely reasonable prices. Our children loved spending a couple of hours in the indoor pool after a long day in the sun. Our favorite restaurants included Bub's Burger Barn, Bennett's Bar-b-que and Blaine's bar and grill. The coupons and directions to various points left in the cabin were a nice touch and we were able to see the arts and crafts district of Gatlinburg using Maureen's driving directions. We would definitely recommend this cabin to our family friends interested in visiting the area. Maureen was an absolute joy to talk to and reserving the cabin was a breeze. She made sure that I had everything I needed prior to our check in date and she was easily accessible when I had questions. While the cabin was definitely spacious enough for my family of four, my husband and I are looking forward to visiting Avalon Ridge again in the near future without the children! Maureen, we can't wait to visit your beautiful cabin again!"
