  • Great Stay

"We had a wonderful time staying in Lil Apple Bear Cottage. It was roomy enough to accommodate my family using the pull out sofa bed for our girls. The location and the views are wonderful. Karen is super friendly and very helpful. The cottage was clean and stocked with everything we needed. We look forward to returning!"

  • Laurel Point

"Stayed for 4 nights. Perfect location with a beautiful view, easy to reach and close to NP. Very luxurious mountain home with a bathroom for every room (3), pool table, TVs, hot tub, nice gas grill. Wifi worked for streaming movies (12 mbps). The kitchen is well-equipped with cooking utensils and tableware. Old Mill Lodging management was very friendly and responsive, the house was very clean and the neighborhood quiet, with surrounding properties about 150 feet away with trees in between. Would go there again!"

  • Beautiful property, excellent owner to work with!

"We really enjoyed our stay and really enjoyed working with David. From start to finish he was very kind, helpful, and readily available by phone and email for any questions. In addition, we have only been home for 2 days and already received our security deposit back!! The cabin is beautiful inside and out! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It was well stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies compared to other rentals we have stayed at. The mattresses were of good quality and in good condition (on the firmer side, but comfortable). It is just a few minutes from the National Park (Wears Valley entrance). Pigeon Forge was just a 15min drive away, yet we were far enough away to feel the peace and quiet of the TN woods and mountains! We had 1 minor issue with the hot tub, but David addressed it immediately and had it completely fixed by the next day. The only reason I mention that is so that you can be assured you are in good hands if an issue arises. The cabin had a great set up for 2 families. With 3 bedrooms (plus a den area), 3 full baths, and 3 separate floors, everyone had their own space! The kids loved it and are already requesting to go back! I would rent this cabin again in a heart beat and I hope to work with David again in the future."

  • Beautiful property, great view

"We had a great time at this beautiful cabin. The view is phenomenal. The two bedrooms were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this cabin if you are looking for a relaxing get away. Make sure to spend your evenings in the hot tub on the balcony! So much fun! My only complaint about our stay was that we had planned on an extra adult being able to use the sleeper sofa in the living room. It turned out to be rather uncomfortable so she just slept on the couch which wasn't a huge deal, though she overall did not get good sleep during our stay. I would say this cabin is better suited for smaller groups (2 couples or a family of 4) as there really isn't a comfortable, out of the way sleeping situation outside of the two king size beds in the bedrooms. It would be nice if there was a good sleeper sofa or futon away from the main living area, up in the loft or on the lower level, so that a larger group or family could enjoy this fabulous cabin. We would definitely come again with a group of 4! Thank you for the lovely stay."
