  • Spacious and quite

"Spacious, quiet, nicely furnished, comfortable beds. Would give 5 stars if not for the lack of Lawn care and curb appeal. Highly recommended. Will be back👍𣐼􎿻"

  • Great Location for Pigeon Forge -- just needs a bit of TLC and restocking

"Overall I would give this house a 4.25 to 4.5 star rating if I could. The location cannot be beat. It is 6 miles from the main parkway in Pigeon Forge (same distance to Kroger and Publix grocery store). About 5 miles from the less traveled north entrance to the Smoky Mountain Park and 9 miles from Townsend, TN. The view is great but you can hear the street noise from Wears Valley Road. The house is tastefully decorated but it has taken a bit of a beating this summer. Floors are scratched on the main level. The dinner table top has some damage but still worked for our nightly domino games. We liked the three bedrooms each had a king bed. But it was very clean. But the stairs are steep and not recommended for small children and there is not really any place to walk a dog (it says it is pet friendly). The grill is charcoal and has seen better days but still workable. The kitchen needs a bit restocking (cutting board, more silverware, wine glasses, cookie sheet). It comes with only dish and dishwasher soap and had a pepper shaker, so plan to bring all stables. There were plenty of pots and pans but no colander to drain pasta. There was plenty of plates but need more silverware. The bathroom is a bit dark with only one counter and could use some hand towels and additional towel racks. Water pressure was good. Beds were super comfy. The house is tall with 3 levels and one bedroom in a separate loft area ( but with door). We liked the foosball and pool table, but never used the home theater. Odd thing was there was no directions on how to set the TVs (we messed up the output or something on two of them and never got them working again although Brandon the manager offered to come out). Three lamps were missing light bulbs but Brandon quickly rectified that as well as got us more drinking glasses. He apologized for the bit of damage that had happened to the house and promised to do a full inventory and restock it. There was also no information on any activities or restaurants in the area. We did leave our brochures for a future renter. Do be warned that the house has a "for sale" sign in front of it so not sure what the future holds. Be sure to put all trash in the proper container and lock it back up cause on our first day we had a black bear trying to get at the prior renters trash. Brandon (manager) efforts raised this score to 4 1/2 so the owner is lucky to have him."

  • fantastic time

"We checked in on Sept.1st 2016. Upon entering the cabin we were all in awe. The spacious and mostly clean cabin impressed all of us. The decor was just enough and felt rustic yet updated at the same time. I have family in knoxville and Sweetwater who came to visit and all were just as impressed. The closeness to Gatlinburg and pigeon forge were nice. Our 2 year old granddaughter loved running on the very expansive deck along with our two dogs, although her favorite room was the theater room. The adults had fun playing pool and just hanging out and looking for the wild turkeys. We saw several. Being able to see the stars at night was a treat so were the peacefully quiet nights Although our stay was one for the record books, there were a few issues that need to be addressed. neither can opener worked ( electric and manual), I cut my hand trying to open a can(totally my Fault) but they need to be replaced. Also food we put in the bottom drawer of the fridge froze, even after turning down the temp. And lastly the windows in the living room were horribly dirty. with floor to ceiling windows being the focal point in the living room, having cobwebs and spiderwebs and dead bugs in them as well as just being dirty really distracted from the beauty outside. However even with these issues our vacation was wonderful and I will surely rent this cabin or one of the others from this owner again."

  • just what we needed!

"Our stay at Peace of Heaven was just what we had in mind when we decided to head for the mountains. The view off the rear deck was most relaxing, especially watching the sunset. We found the cabin in neat and clean order upon our arrival and had no problems during our stay. The beds were comfortable and the location was secluded enough to feel away from it all, yet close enough to groceries, places to eat, etc. that you didn't have to trek all over the place to pick up supplies. We would definitely consider another stay here!"
