  • Couples week-end Trip

"We were a group that consisted of 4 couples and spent two nights at this beautiful chalet! The chalet is very large and consists of 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. All of the bedrooms are a very good size with plenty of room. The kitchen is huge and is well equipped with plenty of pots, pans, casserole dishes, utensils, etc so you can cook anything with the numerous items available. There are numerous plates, cups, bowls, and glasses. The back deck is very large and has very nice outdoor furniture, a swing, small table for outdoor eating, and a gas grill. The view is one of the best! I would definitely stay here again as we have stayed in numerous cabins/chalets in the Gatlinburg area for many years and this was one of the nicest chalets we have stayed in. Townsend is a short three mile drive away if you prefer to go out for dinner. There are numerous items available for children as well and a game room with pool table upstairs. This is the place to stay if you want to be in the Townsend/Wears Valley area."

  • Great Location and Plenty of Space

"We really enjoyed our stay. We had two families (4 adults, 4 children) and there was plenty of space for everyone. The kids enjoyed the movie room and the adults enjoyed the space for everyone to spread out. The location could not be better. You are 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge/Sevierville, 15 minutes from Gatlinburg and you can use the back roads to get there avoiding traffic. You are also only 10 minutes from the entrance to the National Park by Metcalf Bottoms and the Devils Sinks. The cabin was clean and pretty much had everything you would need for your stay. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 would be due to the beds that were very hard and rather uncomfortable after sleeping on them for a week. This is one area the cabin could use a upgrade."

  • Awesome cabin!

"Thank you for sharing your cabin...we enjoyed our time spent here. Our boys (ages 7 & 3) loved the game room and pool! The pool is only accessible by entering the key code into the locked door (if any future renters with small kids were wondering). Although there were other cabins close, the area was very private and quiet. We enjoyed siteseeing in the smoky mountain forest (I would definitely recommend visiting Cade's Cove) and the attractions in the nearby towns. Again, thank you for the wonderful time, we made many memories and hope to return in the future!"

  • Nice house, quiet area

"House had plenty of open space...enough for large family. Although the house was very nice the cleaning needed improvement. Dust, cobwebs, spider webs with spiders (alive) in them and food under the couch in the main living room needed attention. This home has 3 bathrooms and they were also nice but again bottom floor bathroom and 3rd floor bathroom needs a heavy cleaning. Toilets in all three bedrooms were loose, master bath was the worst. With a cleaning deposit paid I would have thought it would be cleaner. I did however have to clean some because my daughter is terrified of spiders. We very much enjoyed our stay there but because of the roads going to the cabin being so narrow we had to shorting our time for activities away from the house in order to get back before dark so I would not stay so far up again. Most of the view was hidden by the trees but you could see some mountains. There was a bear seen there just the day before we arrived and was warned as we arrived. Heard the bear Sunday morning close to the home but did not see it. This is an awesome home...porches were was comfortable. Kids would love the bottom floor with the game room and you can sleep 4 downstairs. A little work on the bathrooms and a good cleaning and it would be perfect as long as you don't mind the roads. They did get easier with each trip we made out. The only thing I didn't like was that the main floor only had one bathroom and it was in the master bedroom....but I loved the house."
