  • Awesome cabin!

"Thank you for sharing your cabin...we enjoyed our time spent here. Our boys (ages 7 & 3) loved the game room and pool! The pool is only accessible by entering the key code into the locked door (if any future renters with small kids were wondering). Although there were other cabins close, the area was very private and quiet. We enjoyed siteseeing in the smoky mountain forest (I would definitely recommend visiting Cade's Cove) and the attractions in the nearby towns. Again, thank you for the wonderful time, we made many memories and hope to return in the future!"

  • Couples week-end Trip

"We were a group that consisted of 4 couples and spent two nights at this beautiful chalet! The chalet is very large and consists of 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. All of the bedrooms are a very good size with plenty of room. The kitchen is huge and is well equipped with plenty of pots, pans, casserole dishes, utensils, etc so you can cook anything with the numerous items available. There are numerous plates, cups, bowls, and glasses. The back deck is very large and has very nice outdoor furniture, a swing, small table for outdoor eating, and a gas grill. The view is one of the best! I would definitely stay here again as we have stayed in numerous cabins/chalets in the Gatlinburg area for many years and this was one of the nicest chalets we have stayed in. Townsend is a short three mile drive away if you prefer to go out for dinner. There are numerous items available for children as well and a game room with pool table upstairs. This is the place to stay if you want to be in the Townsend/Wears Valley area."

  • Dream home in the Smokies

"We have stayed in many vacation rentals in the past and my whole family agreed that this was the best one! The home is equipped with everything Imaginable that you could need, from a washer and dryer (with supplied detergent!!) to makeup removal wipes and hair straightener. Other than a few minor drawbacks that were beyond anyone's control (cable didn't work on the main TV, animals got into garbage) which the owner Tammy was always available and willing to solve any problem we may have had. We have one more night in this cabin and we all are very sad to leave. It was also great to be able to bring our German shepherd along with us. My only suggestion would be to add all king beds. We definitely wouldn't hesitate to stay in this cabin again the next time we are in the area."

  • Great Location for Pigeon Forge -- just needs a bit of TLC and restocking

"Overall I would give this house a 4.25 to 4.5 star rating if I could. The location cannot be beat. It is 6 miles from the main parkway in Pigeon Forge (same distance to Kroger and Publix grocery store). About 5 miles from the less traveled north entrance to the Smoky Mountain Park and 9 miles from Townsend, TN. The view is great but you can hear the street noise from Wears Valley Road. The house is tastefully decorated but it has taken a bit of a beating this summer. Floors are scratched on the main level. The dinner table top has some damage but still worked for our nightly domino games. We liked the three bedrooms each had a king bed. But it was very clean. But the stairs are steep and not recommended for small children and there is not really any place to walk a dog (it says it is pet friendly). The grill is charcoal and has seen better days but still workable. The kitchen needs a bit restocking (cutting board, more silverware, wine glasses, cookie sheet). It comes with only dish and dishwasher soap and had a pepper shaker, so plan to bring all stables. There were plenty of pots and pans but no colander to drain pasta. There was plenty of plates but need more silverware. The bathroom is a bit dark with only one counter and could use some hand towels and additional towel racks. Water pressure was good. Beds were super comfy. The house is tall with 3 levels and one bedroom in a separate loft area ( but with door). We liked the foosball and pool table, but never used the home theater. Odd thing was there was no directions on how to set the TVs (we messed up the output or something on two of them and never got them working again although Brandon the manager offered to come out). Three lamps were missing light bulbs but Brandon quickly rectified that as well as got us more drinking glasses. He apologized for the bit of damage that had happened to the house and promised to do a full inventory and restock it. There was also no information on any activities or restaurants in the area. We did leave our brochures for a future renter. Do be warned that the house has a "for sale" sign in front of it so not sure what the future holds. Be sure to put all trash in the proper container and lock it back up cause on our first day we had a black bear trying to get at the prior renters trash. Brandon (manager) efforts raised this score to 4 1/2 so the owner is lucky to have him."
