  • Wonderful!

"We had a great 4 night stay at the rancho - 2 families of friends, total 4 adults and 4 kids ages 11-6 and loved it! It is conviniently located to go to the Big Bend (about 1 hour to any corner of the park), easy to explore Terlingua and more - making it a great base for exploring the area. The house has everything you need and more - we cooked all our meals at home (breakfasts and dinners) - there was more than enough of everything - plates, mugs, silverware, pots, pans etc. We were happy to use the grill for bbq. In addition there are so much small extras: walking sticks, flash lights, books about the area, night sky guide, porch with table , chairs, rocking chair... So much fun!!!! We spent the evenings at the porch stargazing and even saw some "falling stars". Hope that are wish to come back will come true!"

  • excellent, as usual...

"my husband and i go to Huffman Pond to renew and recharge at least once a year. Our stay is always perfect and we have to drag ourselves out of there before they kick us out. the scenery is so peaceful, the cabin itself is comfortable and always clean, there is nothing you need that Janet and her husband have not provided for us beforehand. if you want to enjoy the peace and quiet among the raw natural beauty of Big Bend, this is the place to visit; in case you must have a connection to the outside world, you do have cell phone reception and internet services..."

  • Basic Texas Charm

"I stayed in the small cabin. It has all the basics you need and Curt is a charming host with a wealth of information about the area. It is a bit of a drive to the entrance of Big Bend park including a couple bumpy miles but it is quiet and has amazing views. One of the highlights for me where the rescued burros that hang out by the cabins. Be sure to bring extra apples and carrots."

"Whether you aim to remember history or forget it, live at large or only get away for the weekend, write your novel or just find a great place to read one , Marfa|608 Guest House is the place to stay. The list description with accurate regarding the location, layout and amenities. The property was clean and well-maintained. The owner went above and beyond when we had questions or any issues with the property. I would recommend Marfa|608 Guest House to anyone looking to visit Marfa and take it all in."
