  • Shady Grove Week

"This place is amazing. We throughly enjoyed our stay at Shady Grove and highly recommend it. The house is great, but the back porch is fantastic. Our family had a great time and all the kids loved the lake, fishing and swimming at the boat house, and playing in the yard."

  • Clean and relaxing

"We booked this little cabin for a mini vacation over Columbus Day weekend. The cabin was very clean, well stocked and we had everything we needed. A nice bottle of wine on the table with some snacks was a nice touch. Small but nice floor plan. Perfect for us and our 2 kids. Nice shade trees for sitting and relaxing. The cove is quiet. No boat traffic while we were there. We enjoyed Marble Falls for food. River City Grill was excellent and got food to grill there too. Also recommend Longhorn Caverns, Vanishing River Cruise and if you have kids Sweet Berry Farm. The only draw back was we didn't have a boat or the money to rent one. Was hoping the fishing would be good in the cove but it was too shallow and stumpy."

  • Most Perfect Weekend Getaway Rental - EVER.

"I hosted a bachelorette/girls getaway weekend here Oct 7-10th. While the weather was perfect (84 and sunny with cool nights), we could not get over the house. We never wanted to leave! It is decorated with such detail and beauty. We had everything we could possibly need for cooking, opening bottles of wine, baking and decorating. We were so pleased with the area and while we didn't catch any fish, it was fun having a pontoon pick us up for the day and it was a blast paddle-boating to the railroad tracks (hauling a flamingo and swan float hehe). Everyone around was so nice and we also went antiqueing only 20 minutes away in Burnet! It was the most memorable experience and I guarantee we will be staying here again in the future! Slept everyone comfortably also! I slept on the pull out couch one night and even THAT was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever been on. Really can't say enough about this place! Worth every single penny and I hope you future renters have a blast! :) Thanks Tricia for a great experience!"
