  • Camp Gabriel was a great place to vacation.

"Our month long stay at Camp Gabriel was great. Situated on Lake Champlain looking at the Adirondacks with access to kayaks, rowboats, and canoes was a dream come true. The cabin was adequate, supplied with all the things we needed. Some instructions on how to use the gas stove would have helped, as well as more bottled water. Other than that it was all good."

  • Perfect location!

"We couldn't have wished for a better location. It was difficult to avoid rushing home each evening to watch the sun setting over the lake with a glass of wine purchased during a local winery tour. We enjoyed the "toys" provided with the house: kayaks, bikes, BBQ rowing boat. Our teenage boys had a blast, especially around the large fire pit, and Bonnie was wonderful to work with. We would suggest stopping off in St Albans city/Burlington for groceries before arriving at the house. Drinking water is provided at the house. Although not technically waterfront, this house has a direct view of the lake as well as its own access to the water. Very peaceful location, and the neighbors were all very friendly."

  • Good Value in Stowe

"We have now stayed in this home for 8 weeks and are planning to stay next winter for another 4 weeks. Obviously, we are very happy here. Not only is the view great, but the house is comfortable and easy to live in. I prepared most meals easily in the well-stocked kitchen with Cuisinart pots and pans and with all appliances in good working condition. Sleeping on a very comfortable king mattress in the master bedroom is like being in a tree house. The 2 upstairs bedrooms also have comfortable beds and accommodate another 4 people. When we arrived, the house was immaculate with a large supply of clean towels and sheets. The washer and dryer are top of the line. While we were there, we had two minor maintenance problems, so by email we contacted Josh who was at the house both times within the hour. He resolved both the issues and reinforced that he did not mind being called. The downstairs tenant was very respectful and quiet. He kept the steps and deck cleared when it snowed. A plow service comes when there is more than a 2-3 inch snowfall. In summary, our happiness with the house comes from being able to find an affordable, comfortable home in Stowe with a mountain view without all of the fancy “extras” that only increase the rate. The drive to the slopes is only 15 minutes and 5 minutes to town."

  • Loved our long weekend at the cabin!

"This house was in a great spot in beautiful South Hero. The house is small, all one one level, but very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is very small, but no problem for just a few days. The kitchen has everything you would need (oh! but bring your own coffee grinder). The deck is big, with plenty of space to enjoy the sun and view! Keep in mind this is a small house, with pretty close living quarters. The only tiny disappointment was the fire pit on the "beach", The lake was very low so the beach was not very enticing and the fire pit was just a circle of rocks. This isn't five star luxury, but great for a long weekend with close friends/family."
