  • Wow! Just Wow!

"First I would like to say that many times pictures can be a bit deceiving... Not this place the pictures are mediocre to what we arrived at. We called it our slice of heaven. I've never been on a vacation where I didn't want a break from cooking dinner.... I didn't want to leave this house for dinner. The house is so well equipped I didn't need to unpack half of our supplies. Our dog and kids had a great time chasing the frogs (frogs are super happy we left!). Ducks greeted us every morning and evening. The fire pit and fire place were so pretty at night! The grounds are beautiful! and Oh my the sunset over the mountains at night was my husband's and mine go to entertainment every evening. Beds were super comfy. As with the entire layout of the house...But my favorite was swimming in the fresh pond. There was also a canoe that my kids loved going on the pond with. We found it far enough away from the town but close enough to get to everything we needed. Think luxurious log cabin with all the amenities! We definitely want to go back! Thank you Farmers! This was voted the prettiest vacation we've taken as a family and we've been to many locations"

  • Lovely!

"Wonderful, large, clean house. Perfect for several families, because there was plenty of privacy (and bathrooms!) but also enough common space. We had several children ages ranging from 2-7 with us, and the house was perfect. The stairs are a bit steep, but the owner provided baby gates so it was no problem. One thing people should be aware of is that you cannot connect to netflix or anything like that with the TV in the living room. This was not a problem for us, but others might want to know ahead of time."

  • Very comfortable

"The location was great, so close to the town and the mountain. The house was very clean and comfortable. Kids enjoyed the big property running around. She has everything there like balls for kids to play outside, board games, DVDs, selection of shampoos, conditioners, and body soaps in both bathrooms, spices to use for cooking, and all. Beds were very nice. Two family with four adult and three kids all enjoyed the stay. Only things I wished were a hot tub and a fire place to be there and more snow, but I knew they weren't there to begin with. It is great place for families to stay."

  • Our Ski week

"We have a family and friend group that get together to ski every year. West coast some years and Vt the others. We had 12 people and had a great time in this house. What a fantastic old, perfect, farm house. Lots of character and comfort. Last year was the long awaited trip to Whistler in the Canadian Rockies and we were only able to get a couple condos that were overcrowded when we all wanted to get together. This was the total opposite. Spacious and it absorbed all 12 of us with space to spare. I love to cook and nothing is better than one long table where we all could fit and enjoy our dinners and each others company. The house was great but more importantly I LOVED the dinning table. This will be a repeat. Couple cautions. The wireless was slow to inoperable. Not a big surprise living in Vt myself. We hooked up a lap top direct and were able to keep in touch with the world. (As if that is really good thing). Although, they need a bigger toaster! Enjoy, we will be back soon. Mike Weybridge Vt and others from Vt, NY and Georgia"
