  • Peaceful forest sanctuary

"We stayed in this special spot for two weeks while my wife recovered from major surgery at the UVA Medical Center. Su Casa was very quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by a beautiful fall canopy of red and gold leaves. Sheree found it to be a healing spot. This small carriage house is separated from the main house and has a private deck that faces the forest. We enjoyed walking on the private road and sitting in the sun on the porch swings adjacent to their lovely garden. We also enjoyed their black Lab and the neighbor's Australian Shepherd that kept us company. The house itself is small but efficiently laid out and tastefully decorated. Justo and Nancy are available and attentive but not intrusive--excellent hosts! We particularly enjoyed exploring Crozet and the wealth of wineries in the area. We highly recommend Su Casa for a short or long stay and hope to return ourselves."

  • Beautiful home!

"This home was exactly what our family needed to relax for a few days while touring the area. It is close to Charlottesville, wineries, breweries, etc. The owner is responsive, professional and friendly. The home is warm and comfortable yet still large and perfect for entertaining numbers of guests. My wife found an over-sized chair in the den that faces a wall of glass to a field for a yard. She said she could have sat there for days just reading and relaxing. Our kids had plenty of room to play and explore. Our daughter cried big tears when it was time to leave proving it was a successful visit!"

  • Wonderful large home for family gathering

"My family gathered in Charlottesville over the June 3-5 weekend. The home is as lovely as the photos indicate, and was spotless. The large living room picture window, the front patio, and comfortable bedrooms, made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Our host has stocked the kitchen with extra trash bags and coffee filters, we found the iron and ironing board, and a broom, etc. There are clear instructions about cleanup before leaving. We brought our croquet set and enjoyed playing in the backyard, and using the back patio for grilling. We took a walk around the neighborhood and enjoyed the other lovely homes and gardens. I believe the home is currently for sale, darn it, as we are hoping to stay there again. The location, directly off the bypass, made it easy to get to other events. A quiet spot yet close to the town and other amenities (restaurants, airport, shops)."

  • Very comfortable and close to downtown Charlottesville!!!

"The location was wonderful!!! So close for walking in downtown Charlottesville!! The beds were very comfortable! We would recommend some extra blankets, although we ended up not needing them and that the 4th bedroom already would've been set up for use. Otherwise, it was wonderful! BTW, we enjoyed the wine that was there and the coffee was very nice too! Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for close in Charlottesville lodging!"
