  • Cosy, clean, convenient, tastefully decorated

"We decided on a last minute getaway to Charlottesville and booked Leah's cottagw. We were very lucky to have found her place! We had an excellent time staying at Leah's and it truly felt like home away from home. The cottage looked exactly as pictures, perhaps even better. It looked like recently renovated and is tastefully decorated - and with good materials, not cheap rental stuff. E.g. Granite counter top, quartz bathroom vanity, etc. Bed is very comfy, bathroom is very clean and even has a washer dryer in unit, the kitchen is well stocked and has everything we need. It is centrally located, only a few minute's walk to UVA campus and we were able to walk around quite a bit. Leah also gave some really excellent restaurant recommendations and all in all, we had a great time. The only thing that could possibly be improved is that the water pressure of the shower head in the bathroom is a bit low. Otherwise, its perfecto. I'm sure before long, this place is gonna be booked only if you book way ahead of time. Thank you for opening your door to us!"

  • Great townhouse!

"We stayed here during our visit to Charlottesville. The townhouse was easy to get to and well maintained. We were close to the downtown pedestrian mall with many shops and restaurants. We visited Monticello which was only 5 miles from the townhouse.! We did several bike rides on Skylne Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway which was a 20 minute drive from the townhouse. The owner was great to work with! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to others looking for a place to stay in Charlottesville. This townhouse would easily accomadate 6 people."

  • Lovely & Charming

"Very beautiful location and love the furnishings. The extra touches like snacks and a huge DVD collection puts this place over the top compared to a regular rental."

  • perfect for two people who want to explore Charlottesville

"The pictures and descriptions are perfect for this house. It was quaint and pretty inside. But once we got there it seemed like the perfect place for a couple to have as a base to explore Charlottesville but not for four humans who like to use a vacation house to have some family time and cook some meals together. The bed and futon were comfortable but when it was not sleeping time, things were tight. For breakfast, or any meal we had at the house, as there are only two chairs, we had to take turns, or have the kids sit on the floor to eat. That being said, although it turned out to not be perfect for us - if you are looking for a tiny house that has charm and amenities (but a tiny tiny footprint and refrigerator that barely fit the bottle of wine we picked up from a local winery) it is pretty, well-maintained and a quick drive to all the history and places you want to go to in Charlottesville (there are no sidewalks in the neighborhood so walking might be tough.) If you choose a vacation house so you have room to hang out together and have more of a house feel, you might consider elsewhere for more than two people - it really is a tiny house!"
