  • Fell in love

"The cabin was used by 17 ladies for a bachelorette weekend at the wineries in late June - everything was absolutely perfect! All of the girls fell in love with the cabin! It was well-equipped and the owners seem to have thought of everything! It was so cool to be away for a weekend in such a secluded spot and in such a fabulous house. Absolutely stunning! Word to the wise though, simply getting up the steep gravel drive at the end was very hard for any sedans or SUV's without 4WD so I would highly recommend 4WD if you go all the way up the driveway - we were able to figure out parking for 9 vehicles but getting everyone turned around and back down the drive on Sunday was a bit challenging. Still, a wonderful spot & highly recommended! Owner is great at communication, the price is very reasonable, and it is quite close to several vineyards in the area. Great time!"

  • great place to stay!

"the owner was so accommodating and the bungalow is adorable! even nicer in person than in photos with fresh flowers everywhere and several sweet touches of southern hospitality. perfect place to stay with my two boys for a wedding weekend in C'ville without having to bunk up in a hotel room!"

  • Relaxing Stay in the Treehouse

"The house was peaceful and comfortable---in walking distance from old town, but also far enough to feel rural. There's a nice paved path nearby for running and walking. My favorite part of the property is the awesome porch. I have to admit, I spent most of my time on the porch reading, relaxing, and drinking wine. I slept wonderfully and am thankful for the a/c unit! The radio also was a nice touch. The outdoor shower is quaint and I really liked having the sheet dividers outside for additional privacy. I would recommend this property and also come back with friends!"

  • It was everything we needed in one sweet package!

"We loved staying at the PawPaw over Easter weekend. The pictures do not do it justice- it is so much more unique and beautiful than the pictures suggest.. It was obviously carefully built and beautifully maintained. Additionally, it was impeccably clean. While the home is very small, we had just what we needed. I was able to cook all of our meals without problems. We really enjoyed the trails and the canoes. We even caught a bonfire. It was really a weekend of simply living. We would love to return."
