  • Beautiful retreat for the international Women's group

"I trust all is well. I am writing this letter on behalf of the Women's International Fellowship(WIF) to thank you for your generosity. A few weeks ago, you made your beautiful lake house available for us to use for our 3rd annual prayer retreat. We are happy to report that we had a wonderful time of fellowship in the Lord. It is our prayer that the love of God will continue to bind us together as we continue to labor in his vineyard. Once again, thank you for your kindness and we pray that the Lord will show you kindness as you have shown kindness unto us. Attached are some of our pictures during our time of fellowship at the retreat. May heaven smile on you and your loved ones. Sincere Appreciation, We loved the porch and new bathroom!"

  • Wonderful stay with family and friends, right on the lake

"We loved our stay at this home. This is our second stay here - the first with a group a friends and this time with family. The house is large, the kitchen very well stocked (appliances and kitchen tools, for example). The views are wonderful from the house, and although we haven't been there while it's warm enough to swim, I imagine it's so much fun as you can just walk down to the water just a few hundred feet from the house. The fire pit out back is also really fun but would suggest bringing your own firewood- the wood that's there has been very wet the two times we've tried to use it so we get smoky fires more than anything. We also used the grill, which worked great- I'd suggest bringing your own propane just in case. Also worth mentioning that we traveled with a 10-month old, and the basement is awesome for that age. All carpet so easy to crawl and scoot around in. Also nice to be able to stay in the basement so he could sleep early and not be bothered by the noise upstairs in the main living area and kitchen that went on well beyond baby's bedtime. All in all a wonderful stay and I would recommend the house to a big group of people who are looking for a relaxing getaway with friends or family."

  • Great Time

"I went here for a week with eight guys from work for a week of bass fishing. This house was plenty big enough that we didn't feel cramped, even though we mostly hung out in the kitchen / living room. It was great having the basement game room for our one rainy morning. Also nice was the basement had a kitchen and having two refrigerators was a big help. We were up at 5:30 every morning, spent the day fishing and come back for dinner, then back out again til dark and then back to sit around the fire. We all loved the Boardwalk Bar Restaurant that was a 10 minute cruise from the house and there was plenty of dock space. It was very convenient having the boat ramp close by. We had six bass boats and there was room at our dock for all of them. The fishing was not as good as hoped. We were there the second week of June and were told at the marina and tackle shop that the best bass fishing is usually in March and April, so that is when we are planning next years trip."
