  • Valley Views!

"A large group of us stayed here last weekend and it was wonderful! The views of the valley and rolling hills/mountains off of the back deck are breathtaking. The house has been very well maintained and cleaned and we all found it very comfortable. There is central AC (which is nice for those hot days) and otherwise the cool mountain air and floor fans worked perfectly. I also kind of wish it had been colder so we could have used the fireplace. There is plenty of seating for big groups, even around the tv...and the kitchen worked out just fine (I had never cooked on electric before)! There are a lot of wineries in the very near vicinity (the purpose of our trip) and a couple of food shops, but you'll want to bring most of your food with you from your local grocery store as it gets expensive out there."

  • Excellent, comfortable, well stocked

"We stayed at Foxfire 6/10/16 thru 6/17/16. The house was just as advertised and more. There is a new beautiful back porch and handicapped ramp which made our stay easier. The house is also handicapped friendly. Our coffee pot broke and Marge quickly replaced it. There are plenty of supplies and utensils to use in the kitchen. You really don't want for anything just buy your food. This house is very close to Wintergreen. And there are plenty of breweries and Wineries in the area. A few minutes from Charlottesville. Sleeping accommodations were comfortable, a standup shower and one tub shower. Also there is a large capacity washer and dryer. There is also a BBQ grill which comes in handi. There are some very nice restaurants in the area close by. All in all we had a great time we were there for our Nieces graduation in Staunton and Foxfire was just close enough. We would definitely book it again."

  • Great Stay at Great Resort

"Nice roomy condo nicely stocked with more than the essentials. Sally is very easy to work with on booking, etc. Her communications are very clear which led to zero issues for us. The condo is very comfortable - including the beds. We all commented each morning how well we slept. Appliances are up to date and everything is in good working order. The unit is on the bottom floor which means you have a patio instead of just a deck/balcony. We never heard any noise from neighboring units and we knew we had neighbors. Highly recommend booking this unit and working with Sally."

  • Relaxing!!

"This was a perfect spot for a long weekend getaway for me and my book club friends. It was a nice private retreat, clean and comfortable with all the comforts of home plus! It was a roomy cabin with plenty of space for all 5 of us adults! Pleasantly surprised to find 2 living areas in addition to the large kitchen table, 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and deck to sit outside in nature. We loved the true cabin feel with awesome hiking trails right outside the door! The information provided was right on. We'll be back!"
