  • Overall, a very pleasant stay. A nice woodsy atmosphere.

"We very much enjoyed our stay at 655 Pedlars Edge. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. The furrnature gave the house a homey feel and I appreciated having several TVs. A couple of times the women congregated in the family room downstairs leaving the guys upstairs. So it was nice to have two gathering spots. We did a couple of the "hikes" in the development. They were a perfect "walk in the woods". We had lunch one day in the resort at The Edge, I think was the name. Very nice upscale pub atmosphere with reasonable prices. I do wish the previous guests had left some kitchen spices besides only salt and pepper and some food storage containers since we cooked several evenings. However, the owners did supply toilet paper and paper towels. It was nice to save that expense. The kitchen had a decent amount of cooking equipment so meal preparation was no problem. Over all a very pleasant experience."

  • A perfect place for our family/friend vacation.

"This was just perfect for a mini weekend away in Wintergreen. With 6 bedrooms with multiple beds no one had to share a bed. The 4 1/2 bathrooms were especially nice because we never had to argue over showers. The "essential" kitchen items were stocked in the kitchen and the living area was very cozy. The house was roomy and we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. I liked the fenced in yard where the dog could relax without us worrying about him running off into the woods. I can honestly say that this was a great place to enjoy the beauty of the area. Communication pre-trip was great and prompt."

  • Restorative!

"The scenery surrounding this cabin is stunning. Sitting by the fire while playing the guitar under the stars was so restorative for our family after a very hectic fall. The cabin was very comfortable with a completely equipped kitchen and plenty of deck and porch space to enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains. We took little trips out to hike Crabtree Falls, enjoyed Wild Wolf Brewery and enjoyed fresh apple cider at a local orchard. The only negative is we couldn't stay longer. If you want to be off the grid just enough to reset this is the place."
