  • Surpassed Our Expectations - Wonderful Getaway!

"Our family of four came over from Seattle for a little weekend getaway and the cottage surpassed our expectations. I can only imagine that the guest who left a negative review must have stayed before some extensive remodeling took place. We found the cottage to be in immaculate condition, clean and cozy down to every last detail. We made our own meals in the well-equiped kitchen, which also conveniently has a washer/dryer. I snuggled under the softest throw blanket imaginable on the couch while my boys enjoyed playing board games they found on the shelves and watching movies from the cottage's extensive collection on the big screen tv. We explored the beach, finding shells, oysters, and jellyfish, and took the kayaks out and had a blast on the water. It was a very memorable family vacation!"

  • Beautiful home in outstanding location

"We recently had a family reunion in this home with guests ranging in age from 8 to 80. The location was ideal. The beach was quickly accessible from the house, just a short walk across the backyard. The backyard was very large and fenced with plenty of room for kids to play. Very private beach, lots of sand and driftwood, and the entire family was entertained for hours. Beautiful views of the water, mountains and boats. Quick drive to Fort Casey and Coupeville made for fun, quick outings. The home was very nice! Lots of bedrooms for family and a huge open plan kitchen/living area with plenty of room for everyone to gather for meals, card games and more. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils we forgot :) The spaciousness of the home made it feel uncrowded, even for numerous guests. The owner was very candid about the few items that needed work or repair in the home, and our stay was very comfortable. The owner was also very helpful in providing directions and anything we needed to make our stay pleasant. I would highly recommend this home and location for anyone looking for a wonderful beach getaway!"

  • Just a wonderful place and experience!

"This is the second time we've stayed with Charlotte Baker. Here are the main points. 1. Wonderful location. Central to Redmond Town Center and superb Saturday Farmer's Market. Right by the Sammamish River Trail. Shops and restaurants. 2. Wonderful and thoughtful host. Charlotte thought of and provided everything for comfort and convenience. Pots and pans, dishes, wifi, TV, washer/dryier, jjust everything to make one feel at home. Plus, the place is absolutely charming with a French theme! Just like being in a cozy Parisian retreat with all the comforts of home. 3. We love the skylights in the kitchen and bathroom. Worth a climb to the 3rd level. 4. She also provided bikes, plus helmets. We did not use them, but others who want to explore the area (trail to Woodinville) will find them useful. 5. Charlotte checks in with us when we arrived to make sure we were fine. She was there to provide anything else we might need, but of course she already anticipated every need. Would definitely stay with her again and again!"

  • Better Than We Dreamed

"This cabin is so wonderful. The owners have put so much time and effort making their cabin so lovely and comfortable for their guests it's unbelievable for a vacation rental. We have stayed in many vacation rentals over the years and this one by far is like someone's home it is so detailed with themed decor. It is in such a lovely setting, each morning we opened the shutters to have our morning coffee and tea to look out upon the river. If you love the outdoors and enjoy hiking, this is where you want to be. In each direction from the cabin on Highway 2 there are trails to hike. We hiked the Bridal Veil Trail about 6 miles away. A fairly easy hike to an outstanding falls. We loved this place!"
