  • Most Excellent Escape!

"We stayed a month here. SO Great! Face: Stella & Len are perfect hosts: considerate, warm, gracious, knowledgeable, interesting, servant-hearted, generous people. They went out of their way to make sure every aspect of our stay was beyond perfect from sharing the bounty of their garden & crab pots, to sharing their love of Bainbridge and all it offers. Place: a world-class view, Seattle sits like a jeweled crown across the Sound. Hedged by greenery. Waves gently, audibly lapping on the shore below lull you into tranquility. Sailboats & ferries drift by. Wonderful walks nearby. Day trips to hike the Olympic Peninsula, Mt Rainier, explore the San Juan Islands, and Seattle weave a varied fabric of wonderful of activities both urban & remote. Space: the apartment is homey, pretty, well designed space, offers everything you can ever imagine needing, clean, quiet, restful, private, romantic. The deck is amazing. Honestly cannot imagine a better experience!"

  • Couldn't have been more enjoyable!

"This was just the place we needed for rest and relaxation on Whidbey Island. Julia was the penultimate "Chamber of Commerce" for the area offering not only a lovely location and peaceful accommodation but also providing great ideas of things to do whether we went North or South on the island. We so enjoyed our stay here and visits with our hostess and her puppies!"

  • Wonderful stay in Mill Creek

"This property is now at the top of my list of the VRBO places we have rented. It is a fully, and I mean FULLY equipped home that has everything your own home has. It is located in a very nice and secure neighborhood and close to the things you need in every day life like grocery stores, restaurants and so forth. A vehicle is probably preferred but there is a bus route within walking distance that can take you to a park and ride from which you can take a bus almost anywhere in the county. And, if you can't use the HOV lanes on the major roads, then taking a bus is highly recommended (which I did for 35 years when I worked in downtown Seattle). The owner is very accomodating to your needs and easy to communicate with which we found to be extremely helpful. Lastly, the VRBO photos have not been photo shopped (as we have found some other rentals to be) so what you see is exactly what you will find when you rent here."

  • Cosy, comfortable cabin in the woods.

"Just finished a short stay in this property. It was exactly like I expected from the photos, with the exception on one extra small loveseat in the living room (which made it just a bit crowded.) Otherwise, it was very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect - privacy plus proximity to ferry and the rest of Whidbey Island. The loft is accessed by quite steep stairs, and would be unsuitable for the very young or very old. Our 28 year old son thought it was fine, though the head room was a slight problem when he forgot to duck in the corners. The kitchen really is fully equipped. We have stayed in vacation rentals which are stripped of any spices, condiments, etc. between renters. I can see taking out perishable foods, but mustard?? This one is not like that. We brought our own spices, but I could have made do with what was there."
