  • lovely home close to our daughter's wedding venue

"We stayed at the Hollywood House for 5 nights in June; it was 5 minutes from our daughter's wedding venue and was just lovely. The house is open, peaceful and was well equipted. We had the girls in for their make up and hair before the wedding. It would be a great place to bring bikes or to explore the area. The owners were available and helpful in directing us to shop etc. We ate one night at the Purple Cafe and it was good. Great wine tasting nearby.."

  • Nice Two Bedroom

"My wife and I stayed one week in this nicely appointed and spacious two bedroom ground level basement apartment. The owners are very nice and responded quickly to any question or need no matter how trivial. Fortunately the only issue we ever had was a weak internet signal. The main bedroom has a Queen size bed and is very comfortable and we are fussy about that. The second bedroom which we did not need has two twin beds and two entries, one from the main bedroom, making it an ideal room for a babies crib. (I have grandchildren so I know this one). We left early each day and returned late in the evening so we did not have visitors or use the kitchen more than for a quick breakfast and coffee, however the kitchen is well equipped and the living room area will accommodate several visitors nicely if needed. Nice location with a 5 minute drive to downtown Kirkland or 15 minutes to Woodinville wine country to the North. We rented a car for our stay and visited family in Woodinville, Seattle, Kirkland and as far as Yelm. If you are unfamiliar with the area, plan your driving for after the commute hour. All in all this place was just perfect for our needs."

  • The Beach House

"That's what we call this charming getaway on Admiral's Cove - The Beach House. We stayed there for 10 days surrounding Thanksgiving in 2015, again in December 2015 while exploring options on the island, and for the month of January 2016. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need to live there. There are 3 bedrooms which accommodated us all when children and grandchildren came for a few days. While sitting in the living room or dining room you can watch the changing weather and seagulls, or freighters and naval aircraft carriers heading to ports beyond. The house is very close to the Keystone ferry which takes you to Port Townsend ( delightful day trip). It's also a great place to walk with parks at both ends of the street (one with a pool and playground equipment and the other with great nature scenes and a spot where you can fish from the shore). I'm giving it 5 stars because this home provides a great place to NOT be busy, but also close enough to explore the beautiful island. It is somewhat dated and not perfect...but that's like most of us, right? I hope you go and make wonderful memories!"

  • Verry unique!

"My Bride and I hade a very relaxing and enjoyable time at this very unique down town flat. Before being nicely repurposed into this lovely flat it was the actual fire house for the town, .... so cool if you like that sort of stuff like me. Coupeville is a fun little town we enjoyed walks and dinner out as well as making a feast of our own in the nicely appointed kitchen."
