  • Great place in Seatlle

"The apartment is well equipped, furnished, and nice to stay. We had great time in Seattle including watching the 4th of July fireworks from the near by Lake Union. and the apartment was a very good base for and great place to return to, and have dinner in , occasionally. We dinned in the neighborhood 'Pomodoro Ristorante Italiano' restaurant, very good as well. Easy to get into downtown, and to get quickly on Highway.. Note that parking is not guaranteed, but we manged ok."

  • Lives up to its posting and then some!

"My husband, son and I came to the Mats Mats house with a another couple and we were all so impressed! The location couldn't be more serene, with the lawn out back sloping down to the Bay. One of the reasons this house stood out on VRBO was the eclectic decor—very comfortable and contemporary—"beach chic!" The house feels new and very well tended—nothing run down. We like to cook and found everything we needed in the kitchen, along with the bbq on the deck. We felt very spoiled in general. The bedrooms are comfortable and the master bedroom is huge and lovely. We made a lot of friends, too. Today, kayaking from the nearby dock, we met a curious seal. An adorable red squirrel paid visits while we sat by the firepit on the little beach. And blue herons are a frequent sight. I would write more but this is out last night and the salmon's on the grill, so I'll close by saying if you're planning a trip anywhere in this area, this house is quite a special find."

  • Lots of trains and boats

"Gina's home in Seattle was clean, comfortable and close to many interesting Seattle sites. The ship locks are fun to visit and Discovery park is only a short distance away. The kitchen has most of the cooking utensils one will need to prepare meals at home. We needed a blender and Gina was very kind to lend us one for the duration of our stay. Beds are comfortable with plenty of blankets and the view from the main living area and master bedroom is awesome. To help plan your stay : 1) Parking is on the street so be careful when opening your car door into traffic. 2) We enjoyed the sound of the cargo trains crossing the bridge every few hours but light sleepers may be woken by the sound - consider bringing a sound generator to help keep you asleep."
