  • Nice and Cozy

"We rated in Mr. Jones's rental on 12/26, the day after Maria, who asked for one night in return in a note she had left shown to by the landlord. They didn't let Mr. Jones know that they left, an we wanted it for the week. It's much nicer then a hotel. The bathroom and kitchen are small but clean and had full sized appliances. What a view!! It was plenty warm, and yes there is a baseboard heater in the bedroom. I think she wanted only one night from the start and was cheating the nice landlord."

  • Lovely English Cottage

"We spent a wonderful week at the Del Mar English Cottage. The furnishings, books, and artwork are lovely and we especially enjoyed the view of the water and mountains. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well-equipped. We look forward to returning to this beautiful property!"

  • Fairytale Retreat

"What a Peaceful Place! Highly recommend! The Bed is SUPER comfy & we got an amazing nights rest. The kitchen has all you need. The view is beautiful. The high tide drifting against the side of the rocks are hypnotizing. Port Orchard is just 10 minutes away and has many restaurants and grocery stores to stock up for the week or weekend. Seattle is a Ferry ride away. We would for sure come back again! My only recommendation is a 'Candle Cottage' sign at the trail that leads you down to the cottage, at first you get to the end of the road and it feels like you've missed something. Then you find this sweet little rock lined trail that takes you to your getaway. Also, maybe an upgrade on the life jackets... the little boat was so much fun to take out. Great Sunset View!"

  • Fantastic!

"Exceeded our expectations in every sense. Lovely, warm, cozy home - exactly as described (maybe even better). Communication was clear and easy. Saw a bald eagle and lots of other wildlife. Highly recommended. One tip if you are local and planning to cook a bunch: bring your own sharp knife (I'm just used to my own knives, perhaps; many knives are provided here, though)."
