  • Easy, described well, comfortable, had everything we expected.

"Cozy, warm (February), and had all the amenities working or present as described. Plenty of detailed info in the house binder. We were very cautious on the wood stairs. We got disconnected from the internet the night before we were leaving (wind?) but not a big deal. Bathroom floor so warm. Lots of tv channels. Would recommend for most people but perhaps not babies, toddlers or older people because of stairs. All around great value, pleasant place."

  • Great Stormy Week Retreat!

"Had a great stay. First of all Leslie was very easy to work with and quick to respond to inquiries. The home is just the right mix of beach cottage and traditional home. We stayed during a stormy week and the house is so well built you could barely tell there was 50mph gusts and rain outside. Was a good size for 5 friends to be inside but not crowded. Great value, would stay again!"

  • A simple beauty...

"This is a special place--the pictures don't do it justice. I'm an architect, and the design and craftsmanship (thanks to carpenter owner Joe) really impressed me. The property itself is wonderfully bucolic too, on an 8-acre parcel that flows seamlessly into neighboring farms and forest trails. The interior stairs are steep, which was no problem for us or our active young 5-year-old, Jack. But it's something to be aware of if you have younger toddlers or elderly visitors. As a getaway for couples or families with older children, however, you'll have a hard time topping this wonderful cabin. Access to the ferry and Langley is quick and easy, yet the quiet calm will make you'll feel eons removed from the city. Thanks Jane and Joe, we plan to return!"
