Wonderful place to relax and enjoy the view

Beach is readily accessed and the view is excellent. The house and grounds are well maintained. Every room is equipped very well for comfort. The kitchen and supplies are all that you would want or need to cook anything. Pots, pans, bowls, dishes are provided for a large crowd. Would be excellent for a family with children or adult couples. There are rubber boots for walking on the beach and other items for play. Clinton, Langley, and Freeland are within short drives. The Goose grocery market is very large and has very good produce and meats, plus anything you could find at home. My girls and I had a wonderful relaxing time together and really enjoyed the stay.

Beautiful House, almost stellar experience

The house is beautiful! We really loved staying there. The rooms are large and comfortable. Five bedrooms means they have actually five bedrooms. It is right on the beach, which the children really enjoyed. We didn't have a stellar low tide, but still we had a lot of beach area to enjoy even with a +1.2 tide. Truly an incredible location! The beach is slightly more accessible via the boat launch up the road, about a five minute walk. Direct access can be difficult if holding a kid or dragging beach equipment down. I'd recommend bringing some firewood up or buying some off the ferry, we lit a fire every night outside and it was very inviting and good way to wind down the day.
We really didn't leave the place, as it was so cozy and accommodating. Toni was responsive to our requests, of which we had a couple – but we had a few snags that detracted from a perfect experience.
We had some issues with expectations – the kitchen equipment wasn't as nice as we thought it would be, we explicitly asked if there was a crock pot and there was not, which made one of our dinners a little complicated. The owner offered to pay for a new one, but we didn't want to leave the house, seeing as we'd have to drive at least 20 minutes to the hardware store to replace. The kitchen equipment is not as nice as I expected, dull knives and such, but I should know better than having too high of expectations.
We also saw that there was a sun umbrella, of which we requested. Toni said it would be delivered by the maintenance person either the first or second day, but it did not arrive as expected. I had to ask a few more times via text to receive the umbrella, and it finally did on the third day. It was a bit of a bummer to not have, as the weather was nice on the first two days and we expected to have it after our communications.
I think I may be coming across as overly negative. The house is gorgeous, the location is gorgeous, and my family and I really enjoyed the place. I would definitely recommend it to others. I wish we had a better experience with the maintenance man bringing the umbrella, but such is life. I'd also recommend bringing up any critical equipment for cooking, but other than that, you're going to enjoy this place.
