  • Quiet and relaxing.

"Owner was helpful. Very quiet place and great scenery. Kitchen has most items you would need to cook. Beach is mostly inaccessible unless at low tide, then muddy. Overall good place to stay if you want something quiet and low key."

  • Amazing views and relaxing

"It was our first time in the seattle area and because of this beautiful house and the views we think on traval again all the 8300 km from Germany :-)) The house had everything we needed for a very comfortable and satisfying stay."

  • Perfect quick getaway

"We stayed at Distant City Lights for a quick getaway as a couple, and we were very sad to leave! Donna gave us a few great suggestions for activities in the area and we loved getting a taste of the island life! It was just a short drive and a ferry ride out of the city, but it felt like we were a world away. Can't wait to go back!"

  • Serenity now!

"This is the third time we have rented this cabin. It is so comfortable - feels like home the minute you walk in the door! The low bank beach access and view from the house is unparalleled! The view of the water, Mt Baker, and Whidbey Island is breathtaking. Throw in the passing ships, sunrise, sunset, and the abundance of stars - need I say more? We never miss taking the walk to the lighthouse and wandering the trails around the bird sanctuary. As far as the cabin goes, it is clean and the kitchen well stocked. There is plenty of room to relax and watch the boats pass by - both inside and out. There is a small store nearby for emergency goods, but would suggest picking up your groceries before you arrive - once you walk in the door, you will not want to leave!"
