  • This was the perfect place for our small family to get away and relax.

"We stayed at the Possssion Waterfront for four nights and could not of been happier. Such a peaceful place to stay and working with Susan could not have been better. This place is so cozy! The bedrooms are both in the back and are smaller but that is great because it saves the majority of square footage for the large room in the front with big windows. At times it kind it feels like you're staying on top of the water. Also the crabbing was amazing. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone considering… unless you're considering rentingiat the same week we want to;)"

"This House is BETTER than a 5 start hotel! it has EVERYTHING!!!! it's as if a family lived there and moved out and left Everything there. There is even a good selection of DVD's and games/puzzles to play. The whole place was immaculate and well taken care of. The house was warm in all rooms and the master bed is so comfortable you will fell like you are sleeping on a cloud. It was the PERFECT ROMANTIC GETAWAY! The Sun Room makes this place spectacular! the view is addicting and we found ourselves spending most of the time in it looking out at the water and the lights across the sound at night are an incredible soothing and relaxing experience. The whole place is designed with tastefulness and is very inviting. We will be renting it many more times I assure you. You get the feeling that you are on a far away island when you are just a 15 minute ferry ride from the mainland. The price of the rental is more than Fair as you will get a LOT for your money! • A simple beauty...

"This is a special place--the pictures don't do it justice. I'm an architect, and the design and craftsmanship (thanks to carpenter owner Joe) really impressed me. The property itself is wonderfully bucolic too, on an 8-acre parcel that flows seamlessly into neighboring farms and forest trails. The interior stairs are steep, which was no problem for us or our active young 5-year-old, Jack. But it's something to be aware of if you have younger toddlers or elderly visitors. As a getaway for couples or families with older children, however, you'll have a hard time topping this wonderful cabin. Access to the ferry and Langley is quick and easy, yet the quiet calm will make you'll feel eons removed from the city. Thanks Jane and Joe, we plan to return!"

  • Wonderful vacation cabin in a great location.

"We truly enjoyed our stay, caught crabs just off the coast, walked the beach, explored the island parks, rested in the hot tub, and watched the World Series on a nice TV. We accomplished all of that still at a relaxing pace because of the great location and features of the home. Oh, and did I mention the pink sunset over the Olympics and the shell collecting for the kids? The owner is friendly and responsive. The only issue we had was initially no hot water because it was turned down for winter. Once we figured that out, we had no other concerns."
