  • Great Family Time at the "Vintage"

"We recently rented this property for Dad's 80th birthday celebration. It truly was like taking a step back in time and we enjoyed sharing with the younger ones the history of the building designs. Perfect weather added to the enjoyment of the property - a large patio to gather on in the front or the beautiful lakeside gave us space for all. Coffee in the am or wine in the pm on the screen porch was delightful. The large elegant dining room is charming and the small screen porch off of it is a perfect place for afternoon tea."

  • What a perfect escape for a family reunion!

"We gather each year for the past 15 years with 3 families plus grandparents. We've rented a lot of houses and are so pleased with the Rowley house. Our kids ages 6 - 11 were never bored, even on bad weather days. The house is very well maintained compared to other homes we have rented in the area. We will definitely be back!"

  • Cedarwood house

"Our family of eleven has been going to Cedarwood for around 10 years. We have taken family vacations together for many years and have found Cedarwood to have the best accommodations of any of the places we have been to. We especially like the large living room and dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is well-equipped and the dining area has a large table that seats us all comfortably. Sitting on the balcony or backyard in the beautiful wooded setting is also a draw. We have recommended Cedarwood to other families. We always look forward to returning there every summer!"

  • Family getaway

"Absolutely the nicest owner who was so accommodating for our last minute family getaway. Home is a distance from main town areas and I highly recommend shopping in nearby Ripon for groceries and stuff you forgot to bring. Water shoes are a must, bring them or you will not be able to enjoy Green Lake. Also as they say Green Lake is very choppy, you must use the boat lift, so glad we were warned of all that ahead of time. Home is high on hill from the lake, it was a long walk and many stairs down to the dock. Our dog loved to swim, but had a hard time getting back up to the dock. Was looking for something in town to use as stairs to get to the water at the low end of the shore but didn't find anything. Kids would have liked that too, but jumping in worked fine. As for the home itself, it was very comfortable. Three full bathrooms with four children was a blessing. There isn't a door on the lower level bedroom suite, it's privacy comes from that it's at the bottom of the stairs. There is a master bedroom upstairs as well as two bedrooms that were excellent for the children. We spent almost all of our time on the lake and outside in the big backyard. Kitchen was nicely appointed, lots of room on main level for us not to be on top of each other. Lots of deck space and the screened in porch was great for relaxing without misquitos. You can easily follow the rules laid out in the books, dishes done, bedding off, towels washed or started etc. everything was there to keep the place tidy and all of our stuff organized. I can see why this is a popular place to visit when the weather is beautiful. The sky at night off the back deck was amazing. Deer are everywhere there, drive slowly in and out. Would love to go again and again. Thanks for the wonderful family memories."
