  • Very, very pleased with my stay.

"I rented this space and the space next door for a group of 15 close friends surrounding a hunting weekend at Milford Hills. I couldn't have been more happy with the set up. Both places are very nice and had all the amenities that we needed and then some. Otto was excellent to work with. He set up extra beds for us which worked out perfect. It was an easy drive to Milford as well as Madison. Highly recommend!!!"

  • Friends and Family get together

"The rental is very spacious, clean, well maintained, and wonderfully located. The property provided great opportunities to explore and play, and had plenty of space to stretch out, relax, and recharge. Nice restaurants, and good shopping are close enough to access, but far enough to avoid the masses of tourists and to get away when desired. The beds are comfy, the kitchen is well stocked, and the linens are nice and clean. A+ value. Thanks!"

  • Wonderful Home on the Lake

"We have stayed in several VRBO's and this has been by far the nicest, most well kept and stocked place we have been in. The house is spacious with great views. It is also clean, has great light and a very nice kitchen. Recommended!"

  • Just what we wanted

"The Cooksville Farmhouse turned out just how we hoped - it was a central meeting point for our 5 family members to gather. It was apparent that Martha and Bob put a lot of thought into what their guests might enjoy in a farmhouse. And what's more, it's obvious they actually enjoyed that challenge. We especially enjoyed burning wood in the real fireplace, and walking down to talk to the mules. Cooksville itself is successfully attempting to preserve its 19th century flavor; but the January cold spell put a damper on walking. The house was plenty warm, though! There are a few things someone in a bad mood could nitpick about, but these are really only in keeping with a genuine farmhouse experience. Very nice to have several bedrooms and baths! One thing so you're not surprised: Being a farmhouse, I thought the plot of land may be on an isolated farm. It's more like a 7 acre plot in a quiet village; but that did not interfere with our pleasure. The sparsely used road does run close, as someone else mentioned. For me, a louder car went by each night and I had to open one eye briefly. Not a big deal. And yes, it is very clean, not even dusty!"
