  This Villa is all as advertised and a wonderful place to spen 2 weeks. It is on the quiet end of the island yet only 25 min into Williamstead. There you can buy fresh fish right from the boats at the floating market! The Coral Estaes is a safely gaited community and Bob has thought of everything you would need for a great stay. Heidi was very accommodating as the manager of the property.We are vacation rental owners and also run a B&B and would highly reccommend this as a great location.

  If you are looking for a quiet serene place to spend your vacation then this is the property for you. The villa is lovely, clean and comfortable. The pool is a great place to cool off after a tough day at the beach. A wonderful breeze blows through the villa to cool things off. It is located in a safe gated community. You definetely need to rent a car for this destination.Willemstad is approximately 25 minutes and worth checking out. It was not difficult to get around the island and we found people to be very friendly. There are three beaches close by one of which is in Coral Estates. It has a great restaurant named Karakters with good food and reasonable prices. Bob the owner makes booking this property so easy and answers any questions promptly. Heidi the property manager is very friendly and eager to make you welcome. I have no hesitation recommending this property. We had a nice relaxing vacation. Thank you Bob for everything and looking forward to coming back to Curacao!

  We had an absolutely amazing time at Enchantment Villa in Curacao. As our family embarked on a family vacation on this beautiful island, we were thrilled to arrive at our beautiful home for the week. The views were incredible and the villa was well appointed and fully equiped for our use.The villa was very clean and comfortable. It was really great to be in a place where we felt instantly at home. As we looked out at the ocean from the lanai or from the cooling waters of our personal pool, we knew we were in a special place.Whether you want to relax, sightsee, or take advantage of all of the great water sports that are readily available. The gated community of Coral Estates was completely secure and the house itself was under the capable care of an amazing manager who was there to help us with whatever we needed. With several beaches and restaurants very close by, we did not have to go far to enjoy what the island offered. But a car was a must as we were able to travel to the many places that we have loved on past visits.The uncertainty of booking a vacation from the internet is a little scary, but we have to say that Enchantment Villa was better than advertised on the listing. We would definitely recommend this home to friends and family, but our greateat hope is thatweI will get a chance to return at some point in the future.

  This villa is comfortable with it's 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The kitchen was roomy but the veranda was the highlight where we ate dinners and breakfasts. The property manager was friendly and efficient. If you like quiet beaches then this is a good choice because the local beach--about a 5 minute walk--is just that. The snorkeling and scuba at the beach are fantastic since the reef is easily within swimming distance. The water is warm and clear. One off note, is that the beach is rocky and drops quickly and it can be hard to enter if the surf is up. There are several other beaches within a 10 minute drive. Willamstead is about a 25 minute drive, and the closest small grocery is about 10 minutes away. Our family of 6 really enjoyed our vacation at Curacao and would stay again at the Enchantment Villa.

  This is a beautiful home in a nice, gated community. It is in a more remote area of the island and if you are there for the nightlife, etc., this is probably not the place for you. However, it is very close by to excellent beaches for swimming and snorkeling (we are not divers and cannot speak to that). The house is very well equipped and the pool is sparkling and has a 6' depth (with picture you might think smaller-at least I did). The view is great and the 'house' reef is a short drive away. The walk to the beach is nice but it is quite an uphill coming back (hence the view!)so it is much easier to just drive. Even though you have close houses on both sides of you, the foliage is so thick that you have complete privacy on the deck and in the pool. The closest store and gas station is 6 miles (10 km) away but again, this is one of the advantages not disadvantages for those of us looking for solitude and great beaches.

  This vacation rental was all that we could expect. The home had everything you could need form a well appointed kitchen to crystal clear pool. We cooked most meals at the Villa but did try out a couple of restaurants. Karakter a new restaurant located on the beach at Coral Estate was only about a 10 minute walk, the food was great and the prices reasonable, and the view was fantastic. We spent days exploring the island and evenings at the villa enjoying the pool and the stars. Will definately be back in the future. Thank you Bob for allowing us to stay at your wonderful home.   What a spectacular vacation! My family and I just returned from a week at Enchantment villa and we have to say it was our best one ever! You always hope when planning a vacation that what you see is what you get…..this was beyond our expectations. We walked through the front door and looked right thru to the ocean view just as the website has it pictured. There was a beach within walking distance and a restaurant as well which was nice for our lazy days. We did venture out and explore the island there are lots of things to do and there are beaches everywhere! The villa was so nice we spent more time there then we expected. We cooked in and enjoyed the evenings on the lanai the sunsets were breath taking. There was an information notebook that was very helpful and the property manager Heidi was a joy. The owner Bob was very accommodating from our first request. He made this entire vacation plan come together and we had such a great time. This is a wonderful place to stay and we will come again someday. Thank you for sharing your Villa with our family. Cole, Deb and Andy

  From initial contact with the very responsive owner Bob to our kind departing words with property manager Heidi we felt completely at ease and truly pampered at Enchantment Villa. The villa had everything one would need to cook full meals (we did almost every night) and the location was far enough away to star-gaze and unwind but close enough to several grocery stores to keep stocked up on the necessaries. We spent 7 wonderful days in Curacao and it really surpassed our expectations. Heidi was always available but never intrusive. The rate was very affordable considering what you saw when you gazed through the cute porthole in the front door... ridiculous views and the pool and breezes were so cooling and tranquil. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was more than enough to keep our Florida blood cool in the evenings. There were minimal bugs during our stay...we even slept out on the patio a few nights after stargazing and swimming proved too exhausting! Our neighbors were close but the landscaping was very well placed so sunbathing au naturale was great... I don't even know why I packed three swimsuits! Wi-Fi was a great bonus... I packed my laptop so we had music on the patio during the day and I could FaceTime my parents at night to tell them about the amazing dive spot we saw the day before. The Villa is a true gem and we will be returning next year for sure. Do yourself a favor and book this villa... but just not during July... that's when we're coming back! Thank you Bob and Heidi for making our vacation one to remember!!!

  If you read this review because you are still looking for a place to stay, stop looking and book this villa before sombody else does!! We stayed with 4 adults for 2 weeks at this beautiful villa and we had the most wonderful time. The house is super clean, better equipped then my kitchen at home and has everything you need during your time in Curacao. The pool and the large terrace are a dream. We spend a lot of time there because it was just perfect. The view is great, the pool has a decent size and you can choose between a sunny or shaded place enjoy for example the colorful birds fly by. The location is perfect. For us the most beautiful beaches were Daaibooibaai, Port Marie and Kas Abo who are only 10 to 20 Minutes drive away. A little Mini Markt is reached whithin 10 Minutes and a large grocery store within 20 Minutes. Yes, you do need a car, but there is also a beach restaurant in walking distance if you feel like not driving one day or even better, we BBQ a lot by the pool. I really think it is a great place to stay. In addition, Bob the owner, is amazing to deal with and assists you with anything you need ahead of time. Heidi who will take care of you on site is fantastic. She really takes good car of you. We also rented a car through Heidi and it was super easy and convinient. I can only recommand this villa and wish everybody who will stay there in the future a great time.

  My family stayed at Enchantment Villa in the middle of April for 11 days. The home is very large, has 3 bedrooms, a large dining area connected to the kitchen and also the living area, all an open space. There is also a very large outdoor veranda, partly covered, that looks over the ocean and has a small pool. The home is fairly well maintained, but there is no glass over the windows in the bedrooms, only screens, which allows the air conditioning to escape and also makes the room susceptible to insects and moisture. There are many insects on the island, and since the doors need to be open for air, be prepared for mosquitos and insects in the house. The kitchen is well stocked, but the items need some replacing. Heidi is very nice and will help you out with information if you ask her. This is by no means a luxury property, but a nice place to stay away from the tourists and stay on the quiet west side of the island. There are few restaurants close by and the larger grocery stores are a good 20 minute drive away. We liked Esperamos and Cost U Less the best for our groceries. Getting to town takes between 30-40 minutes, and we can get to the north end in 25 minutes as well. There is no house beach at this time, but 2 very nice beaches only a few minutes drive away. The diving beaches are great, but the best ones for kids are Porto Marie and also Cas Abou. My family enjoyed themselves at Enchantment Villa, but we wished attention to detail was better (like light bulbs all over the house being out, oven not working very well, sand all over the floor when we arrived ) and cleaner.

Guest feedback is our primary source of information for improvements to the villa so your time is very much appreciated in telling us ways we can improve future guest experiences. We are always hopeful that our HomeAway advertising does clearly convey to our guests that our second home is a rental location, not a resort room rental. As a residential home it is designed, as most homes on the island are, to take advantage of the trade winds in open living areas, with air conditioning in the bedrooms and Dutch architecture windows. (Glass/screen/wooden shade combination. To clarify the master bedroom has glass French doors and the second and third bedrooms have large glassed picture windows with small side vented screen and wooden shades). We, and most of our guests, find this offers the option of comfortable breeze in the day and cooling A/C at night. Curacao has been experiencing more than normal rainfall and unfortunately with the rain comes the mosquitoes. The screens do not allow mosquitoes to enter and the A/C units are more than capable of cooling the rooms to desired temperature. The house beach has been under major renovations and that is why we have removed this from our advertizing. It is near completion, the new restaurant is now open and we are all hoping that the new beach, dive shop, snack bar and community pool will soon be open also. We appreciate our guests and any feedback they can provide to help us in with our program of continuous improvement. Thank you for taking the time to give us your helpful feedback.
