This seventh floor condo is beachfront, featuring spectacular views and sounds of the gulf from the front and back balconies. An elevator ride down from the seventh floor puts you directly at the new pool/hot tub area and steps away from the beach. A percentage of rental income is donated to our non-profit animal rescue and pet adoption facility located in Marietta, GA, called Our Pal's Place, Inc.
The condo sleeps up to seven with a king-sized bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed and day bed in the front bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the family room. The master and front bedroom have on-suite baths and the master bath has a Jacuzzi tub. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the condo provides washer/dryer, TV with DVD and VCR, stereo and wireless high-speed internet. A 15' mirrored wall in the living area gives you views of the beach from any angle in the living area and kitchen.
Mainsail is a gated community with 24 hour security. Directly across the street from Mainsail is Sands Outlet Mall and Winn Dixie for grocery shopping. Restaurants are in walking distance as well.
No pets are allowed per the Mainsail Homeowners Association and absolutely no smoking is permitted in this unit. Must be over 25 to rent.

Year Purchased: 2000
We bought our condo as a second home in 2000, but due to our respective careers have not been able to use it these past few years as much as we would like. We decided to share it so others can enjoy the beautiful beaches and have a relaxing get-away. We only rent to people who are willing to treat it like their own second home so it will stay nice for all of us to use and enjoy in the future.
Starting in 2011, we will be using the condo for 6 months out of the year for work. A small office has been set-up in the back corner of the living area in what use to be un-used space.
Why the Owner Chose Mainsail
We grew up visiting the Fort Walton, Destin and Panama City Beach areas. We both love Destin because of the beautiful white beaches and clear blue/green water.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
When we bought our condo, our requirement was to be directly on the beach so that in the mornings, we could take a cup of coffee down to the beach to drink while the sun was coming up and the coffee would still be hot!

We had a fantastic time in Destin this year. This well-appointed condo felt just like home with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation, right down to the basket of beach towels as you walk in the door. It was so wonderful to wake up to the sound of waves crashing on the beach. First, we enjoyed our breakfast outside, while watching people gather in the beach. Then we took the elevator down and walked a very short distance to the beach. Forgot something? No problem, this place is right on the beach. In the afternoon we would eat lunch by the pool and then explore the area. The outlets are right across the street as well as several good, decent-priced restaurants. We were so sad to leave and look forward to next year's trip.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

Excellent location; shopping for the ladies is practically across the street, golf for the gents also near at hand. Beautiful beach with easy access. Accomodations are outstanding.

My family had a great time during our March vacation. The condo was was very nice, clean and comfortable. The views were even better than I expected. We could hear the ocean from our balcony, at the pool and even at the tennis courts. Our kids, ages 7 and 15 loved both of the pool areas. Even though we were there at spring break, we never experienced any of the craziness we heard about in other areas. The location in Destin was also very convenient for great shopping and plenty of restaurants. I will defnitely plan on booking another vacation in this condo.

We've stayed at this condo many times and have always been very pleased. The location on the beach is great! Being near the Outlet Mall and great eating places also makes it a great place for a beach vacation. It's off the highway which makes for a quiet and enjoyable place to relax and vacation. It's well funished and provides all the comforts of home. You can't miss with this one. I'd recommend it to anyone.
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We love the Destin area and this condo is in a great location. Quick access to a relatively quiet section of the beach. The outlet malls are just across the street and a perfect get away for when the sun is too hot. We love that you can walk to the grocery store and liquor store just across the way --- no fighting traffic!!!! The new pool area is great for kids and the communal grills in that area are great for sending the hubby down to grill a yummy seafood feast.
