Incredible Parisian apartment in classic stone 1911 Haussmanian building. Lovely building with mosaic entryway, restored antique elevator, stained glass windows. Security building with double entry. Second floor apartment with only two apartments per floor. Completely renovated in 2006. New bathroom and kitchen with lovely tile, new appliances, and washer dryer. All of the wonderfully charming features of old Paris including hungarian point hardwood floors, marble fireplaces in bedrooms and living room, crystal chandeliers, antique sconces, classic plaster ceiling mouldings, wrought iron balcony, Antique furnishing with oriental rugs.
Included in the rental are cable TV including CNN and BBC, unlimited wireless internet access, free long distance. Superb location one block from the Champs de Mars/Eiffel Tower, Ecole Militaire. Just steps from the metro station (La Motte-Picquet Grenelle) with three lines. At the corner, catch a direct bus to Champs Elysees, Luxembourg Gardens. From the center of Champs de Mars you can catch the 69 to the Louvre and the 87 to Luxembourg Gardens. We spent two years looking for our dream apartment. We finally found it and we look forward to sharing it with you.

We spent a fabulous two weeks in Paris. This apartment is beautiful with everything one needs for a very comfortable stay. The rooms are very large and beautifully furnished with attention to detail. We loved the location of the apartment: great cafes, pastry shop and bakery right down the street, two convenient metro stops, quiet street,Monoprix(large grocery store) a short walk away. Rue Cler is also a short walk and there is a great market on Grenelle every Sunday. Motte-Picquet seemed like our own little neighborhood and the apartment our home away from home. We wish we were there at this moment and hope to return soon.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing.
