Spoil yourself and your family in our luxury 2 bedroom suite at the Ritz Carlton Club in St. Thomas. You will want to return again and again. This suite includes 2 spacious bedrooms on either side of the residence (one king, one with 2 twin or full beds depending on unit). Each has their own marble bathroom with standalone shower, tub, and 2 sinks. The living room also has a pullout sofa.
This suite features a living room with entertainment center, full-size washer and dryer, and two furnished balconies. To view a graphic of this suite layout, go to the RitzCarltonClub website and choose "Locations," "St. Thomas," "Suites," and this suite is Heliconia "C" layout.
The kitchen has 2 refrigerators which are about 1/3 size each of a standard fridge. One contains an ice-maker. A convection/microwave oven, dishwasher, full supply of dishes is also provided. Granite countertops complete the luxury of not needing a full kitchen because food is provided for you at no additional charge - read below!!
This residence is a Suite which is quite different from other Ritz Carlton residences because it provides what the Ritz calls four "Food Presentations" per day. Your key to your room provides entrance to the Suite Lounge which is a short walk (one building over, about 2-4 minutes) where the following is provided.
The following description is not a guarantee of what will be provided, but gives you a general idea of what is usually provided (we were there October 2006 and 2007 and this describes what we were presented). It is not all-day food, but broken up into 4 different time slots.
Breakfast - Items such as bagels, bread, english muffins, cereal, toast, some kind of meat (smoked salmon, turkey or ham), fresh fruit, yogurt, milk, juices, coffee, tea, can soda, bottled water.
Lunch - Items such as sandwiches, bread, salads, some kind of meat, pasta salad, fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, milk, juices, coffee, tea, can soda, rum, wine.
Dinner - While this is not a big dinner, you could make it one if you are into lighter dinners. Items that were included in October 2007 were shrimp, cheese and crackers, vegetable tray, teriyaki steak or spiced chicken, green salad and some kind of meat. When they realized we had kids, they provided pasta with marinara sauce, popcorn chicken and smores - just let them know what you or your kids like and they will do what they can to accomodate. Also available - wine, rum, can soda, bottled water, coffee, tea.
Dessert - At 7:00 it's dessert time! A mix of incredible desserts, coffee, tea, wine and rum. You can also get beer for a charge in the Suite Lounge.
Just think - no cooking, cleaning, paying additional for meals, and you get fantastic Ritz Carlton food! We stayed with our family of five last fall, and never ate breakfast or lunch outside of the Suite Lounge - what a savings!! With the new chef in 2007 we ate at least half of our dinners in the suite lounge as well.
You will have access to all Ritz Carlton services including a concierge, workout room, spa, tennis courts, Ritz Kids program, and twice-daily housekeeping. Complimentary broadband internet is available in your room. If you don't bring your computer, the suite lounge contains 2 shared computers with internet access for free. There are incredible pools, restaurants and bars on-site just a few minutes walk from this residence. The kids will love making their own sand art creations for you to bring home! For that night out without the kids, the hotel can help you line up sitters.
