Our ten day St. John vacation was filled with a beautiful home, beautiful people and beautiful experiences. The rental home (Points of View) was beyond description with the bold and varying ocean and bay views that surrounded the property. The open layout, multiple doors and circular deck gave the sense of living outdoors & indoors simultaneously. The vibrant colors and home design captured the St. John reality, providing numerous opportunities to relax, to read, converse, swim, and eat with numerous variations in the water views that were constantly changing throughout the day. The drive to the East End of St. John is an experience not to be missed; as we wound around the island through the National Park we took pictures of Donkeys, goats and other wildlife. The Caribbean Sea views surrounded us throughtout the 10 days. The bay offered a back drop captured against green mountains and small islands with multiple colors of blue water (aqua marine, crystal blue, turquoise, ect.) that contrasted with the green vegetation and the hillside. We learned to snorkel, visiting 5 beaches. each different and offering an unique vegetation and marine experience. We meandered down our road when we were in local snorkel/swimming mood and drove to Trunk Bay, Waterlemon Cay and Cinnamon Bay when we were feeling adventurous. Every morning and evening started with a dip in the swimming pool, providing either planning for future outings or a reflection time for the day. Our family enjoys to read and the home/deck/grounds provided a variety of reading settings where we could be alone with our thoughts or congregate as a family. Our only disappointment was our inability to use the villa to its maximum capacity. Three people felt somewhat rambling. Next year we will solve this by inviting our daughter's friends or asking relatives to join us in this stimulating and aesthetic experience.

Points of View was great. I wish I could stay another week. I loved feeding the donkeys. They like sweet potatoes. When I get back to SC I'm going to miss the beautiful clear water. Thanks for letting us use Points of View. I LOVE St. JOHN Dear Person reading this, I have been to St. John before and it is a blast. My plane trip was delayed but I made it here. Bring some carrots with you in the car so you can feed the donkeys. Sincerely, 'a little girl the age of 10'

We like POV so much we are returning again this summer. Thank you, Sally, for building such an incredible place. Athena and Jay helped us so much last year - we'll plan our gasoline purchases better this year! I liked sitting in the pool, watching the sunset, with my rum....what's not to love? If anyone is looking for a private oasis, surrounded by nature, in peace and quiet -- this is it!

We've been here a week and love the place, the views, the culture, East End, Coral Bay. Up at 6 AM for coffee, watch the humorous humming birds and bananaquits-by 8:30AM our first snorkel-Waterlemon Cay, great Salt Pond, Hansen Bay (turtles!)-then on to a day sail or a hike, Lameshur & Reef Bay. Lunch at Miss Lucy's or Skinneys than a PM dip and nap and up at 5PM the people on boats drift and the sunset and than out to dinner-#1 Sweet Plantains. A lovely place, we hope to be back soon.

Thank you so much for letting us make POV our home for the past month. We watched a full cycle of the moon and lived 'the life'. We're rested and rejuvenated and ready to go back to our crazy life in Cape Cod. See you in the fall-we can't stay away!!!

Sally, today we must leave paradise & return to the real world. POV truly lives up to it's name, as we spent many hours of enjoying the scenery visible from the place. This AM we were greeted with the most spectacular rainbow we have ever seen. Visited lots of great snorkeling spots. Especially the area at the bottom of the private path. Got to see our favorite friends: turtles, rays, barracuda, lobsters, flounder, squid and many other beautiful fish and coral. All in all a very special place on an incredible island. POV will always be a favorite of ours. We will likely return here some day.

We had a great time. This is a unique and beautiful place. We found it hard to venture very far from this East End of the island. Finding most of what we wanted right in this hilltop.

What an incredible place to visit! We have never stayed somewhere with better views...after long beautiful days of snorkeling, it was amazing to come back to the house and hang out on the deck, taking in the bay and sunsets. All in all, one of our best vacations---many thanks to Athena for all her help.
