Why the Owner Chose Lake Leelanau

Our family loves Lake Leelanau, and has been vacationing here since 1995. For a long time, our girls thought "vacation" and "Leelanau" meant the same thing! After years of dreaming and looking, we were finally able to purchase our cottage in late 2006, and love having our own special place in Leelanau.

The Unique Benefits of this Cottage Home

Being on Kelenski Point means we have a beautiful, peaceful setting with fantastic views of the lake. We are close to all our favorite spots (Fishtown, Suttons Bay, the Dunes Lakeshore), as well as Traverse City, with its more urban vibe. Really, it's the best of both worlds!

From the guest book in our cottage: We all had a wonderful week here at your terrific cottage in beautiful Northern Michigan. Everything we needed was here for us, and your place is so comfortable and homey. Thanks so much for sharing it! We took the Leelanau Peninsula map with in the car everywhere we went, very helpful. Along with Glen Arbor, we visited Suttons Bay, Leland, Northport, all great little towns to see. Besides our travels, we all enjoyed “pool” games here at the house, putting puzzles together, campfires with s’mores, and some fishing. Thank you again. We had a great time.
