The safari house is a great place for vacation. The house is so big to hold our 16-people group. The fall color was so beautiful in the early October. Would recommend.Recommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

We had a lovely time at this vacation property. Everything is as advertised. The pictures cannot capture how large this house is. We had 11 people total and could easily fit a few more comfortably. The lake is crystal clear. Make sure to bring water shoes because the lake does have zebra muscles which can cut up bare feet. The boat launch is a short distance away from the house. We enjoyed having our boat there to get to the good fishing spots (as well as sight see around the lake). The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was gigantic (and if that is not enough space there is a small kitchen off of the back). The lake provided lovely scenery. I also enjoyed walking and running on the road the takes you to the house. The house is pretty centrally located between Iron River and Crystal Falls. Both places have a grocery store for anything that you might need. My family and I were very pleased with everything.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

I took my father to the Safari House for our annual fishing trip and by far it has been the best year we have had. The house is magnificent and has every amenity you could possibly need or want. The lake is right off the rear patio and the sunsets are fantastic! The area surrounding the lake is just beautiful. The road to the hosue gently winds through a full canopy of trees yet it is open enough to see the deer wandering around in forest. The lake is crystal clear and pristine with large variety of aparently hungry fish. We were left wanting nothing more than to be able to stay longer. We cannot wait to get back.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We had 13 people for a memorial service for my wife's mother. This house gave us lots of room for all of us and ample room for a buffet luncheon after the service. The house itself is spectacular, the outside views and the wonderful inside views made for an interesting time. If you have a large group this is the place to be! We would rent this house again if the need ever arises. We have no complaints of any kind.Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

Sorry for this delayed review but I stumbled back on this property after staying here last Memorial Day Weekend. Rich was very easy to work with and accomodated our every request. Beautiful, clean lake and very close to the water & good fishing. Very large home with nice upgrades. Would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks again Rich for the hospitality. Your mounts are incredible & kept us entertained often!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.
