We rented this home because our husbands have a hunting lease in southern Missouri and the families decided to come along for a few nice relaxing days during the Thanksgiving week while the men hunted. The home was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The owner went out of her way to accommodate us and make sure we were very comfortable. The scenery was beautiful (although it was very cold 12-20 degrees so we didn't enjoy the porch as much as we would have liked!) This house was very roomy and the two separate floors were perfect for us since one family had little kids who woke up early! We certainly used the two cozy fireplaces to warm us up! I cannot say enough great things about the owner and her help! I would definitely stay here again just for a relaxing few days to do nothing! Hardy had a very nice little downtown shopping area that we enjoyed one day. The view of the river was nice. The only slight problem I had was the driveway...a little more steep than I expected but we are from south Louisiana with NO hills so it may be no big deal for many!

Wonderful Weekend with Friends
Wonderful Weekend with Friends
We have stayed in this house on Labor Day weekend for the past few years now and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our visit. We have made many memories that will last forever. This house is very accommodating. The kitchen is equipped with everything you would possibly need. There is a grill outside which we used both nights. The bathrooms are stocked with plenty of towels and sample toiletries in case you left home without yours. There is a grocery store that isn't far from the house should you need anything. We normally bring our own food but I think I will just wait and shop there because they seem to have everything...less hassle packing too. We go rafting in Mammoth Springs every year when we visit and this year was by far the best. Riverside Resort is only about 20-25 minutes away from the house. The river appeared to be up this year which made it much more fun. This year we enjoyed renting a pontoon on Thunderbird Lake and tubed for the day which made it a more eventful weekend. The lake is only about 10 minutes from the house. We plan on staying at Hideaway Falls again next year. This has become a yearly ritual for us. Oh and by the way just to show how honest the people are around there...our friends left their radio on the pontoon by accident on Saturday but didn't realilze this until Monday morning. We called the marina and they said that no one turned it in but would check the pontoon we rented. Low and behold, the gentleman found it sitting on a table next to the pontoon. We couldn't believe it! That made the trip even better...true honest and good people.

Loved this property. The house is impeccably maintained and extremely spacious. The location is lovely as well. I wasn't impressed with Hardy particularly but the river and the house are worth the trip. Great place for large groups.

The Riverfalls Hideaway was the perfect setting for our quick trip to Hardy for a family funeral. We had plenty of space to be with family. Everything was clean and comfortable. Loved the view and the river. The driveway is not as flat as it looks in the picture, but being from this area we were used to it. lol The owner was very friendly and extra helpful in our quick planning for this trip. We will be back and will look forward to staying here again.

We were so lucky to have found this amazing place! It was not only accomodating for all of our family to spend a week for Thanksgiving, but beautiful and so clean. The kitchen was awesome to prepare our thankgiving meal and the space was perfect. We had an amazing time and if we ever needed something, the owner was always available to answer any questions we had. We can't wait to go back! The view was amazing and we will never forget our 2012 Thanksgiving at this wonderful home.

Cant wait to return... LOVED IT!!
Cant wait to return... LOVED IT!!
This was our first trip to the area, and house, and we loved it! House was wonderfully, modestly furnished, with everything we could wish for. We liked the area, liked the house, and LOVED the river! Early mornings are "my" time, and this house and the sounds of the river below, and the amazing back porch was awesome! Me and my party of 3 adults, and 5 children had a fantastic time. We plan to return next year!!!!! thanks for the house, and making it enjoyable, safe, and beautiful!!

Great weekend getaway with friends!
Great weekend getaway with friends!
We had five couples spend a weekend at this wonderful house. Plenty of room for everybody, it was so nice to have a full kitchen to cook all our meals. We sat on the back deck and listened to the concert that was going on across the river. We had a blast, can not wait to come back next year! Good memories made with great friends! You will not be disappointed if you rent this house!! Thank you Shayna for opening up your house to us!!

The house is great. It is perfect for a big group of friends or a family. Plenty of rooms, plenty of space, and all of the necessities you will need. There are 2 nice decks out back as well. Service was great and the house is in a great location. Have stayed there a couple times now and have had great experiences both times.
