This recently renovated, two-story, Palmetto Dunes villa is a spacious townhouse with all the amenities.
Our 4 bedroom, three bath villa, 497 Captain's Cove, is in Palmetto Dunes. It is a second row unit facing the lagoon. This is a very clean, spacious and beautiful townhouse with easy access to the ocean, lagoon or pool. It has a full size washer and dryer as well as an eat-in kitchen and a separate dining area. We also provide a high chair. Two hours of tennis per day is included with the unit. We provide beach chairs, a beach umbrella, a grill, 5 TV’s, including a 42” flat panel High Definition TV with surround sound, three DVD players, wireless internet access and much more.
The rear deck faces the lagoon and is a peaceful place to read, have a glass of wine, and take in the island’s beauty. The lagoon has a dock if you care to rent a canoe or kayak to explore the interior of the island from the water or fish in the lagoon. Fishing from the dock has also been a lot of fun for our grandchildren.
There are two bedrooms on the first floor and two bedrooms on the second floor. The master bedroom has a king. The other first floor bedroom has both a queen and a single. The upstairs bedrooms have a double and two doubles, respectively.

Just a few very minor items the women picked up on. There was not a broom to sweep the kitchen. (we bought one and left it in the closet in the kitchen) The toaster does not work. The washer and dryer a situated backwards for ease of working. I told you they were minor and something i probably would have never figured out. We had a great time and would not hesitate to rent your unit again. I was very surprised at the size of rooms. I really did not think that there would have been that much room in those facilitys. It was very comfortable and my choose for best room in the house would be the back deck. We spent more time out there than anywhere in the house. It is beautiful back there with the water way and the landscaping. We also rented the unit at 495 and we used your unit as kind of home base and had absolutley no problems having all of us under your roof.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+.

The location, size of bedrooms and comfort was EXCELLENT. Living room was comfortable, deck furniture was very adequate and comfortable and the beds were great. However, we found the townhouse dirty and in need of painting and repairs. I would rent it again if I were assured of it being cleaner and spruced up. You can't ask for a better location! We love being on the lagoon and right across from the beach and pool!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My family has been vacationing on HHI for 10+ years and luckily disocvered this jewel several years ago. Without a doubt, this is the best possible location if you have multiple interests - beach, biking and canoeing or kyacking. My children and granchildren love it and look forward to returning each year. The townhouse is spacious and well appointed, the beach is right across the street, the bike path is right out front and there is a dock on the lagoon out back. What more could you ask for? We plan to return to this wonderful property for many years.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This property is a great value and might just be the absolute best location on HHI. The townhouse is comfortable, spacious and convenient to all activities. The beach and a huge pool are across the street, a lagoon for fishing, canoeing and kayaking is only steps from the back deck and a bike path is accessible right out front. Three golf courses and free tennis in Palmetto Dunes provide additional recreational activities. We rented several properties in Palmetto Dunes before we found this one and now my family doesn't want to go anywhere else. We've had a family vacation here for several years and already have a reservation for 2011. Try it and I bet you'll love it.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

this was a great place to stay. palmetto dunes is my favorite place in hilton head and this condo was very convenient to beach and pool. this unit was very tastefully decorated, very clean and spacious. since it was pet friendly we were all able to enjoy the beach together.Recommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+.

Hello and Happy New Year! We returned safely on Saturday night from a wonderful week at your condo. We enjoyed ourselves as did our children.
