Imagine a cozy, welcoming mountain cabin with a roaring fire, deep chairs and good friends. It's an atmosphere that makes you instantly feel at home.
In a heavily tree'd area, this house provides you the privacy you desire yet only 5 minutes from the town of Breckenridge and the ski slopes. Gather 'round the rock fireplace on the main floor living room. After a day snowshoeing, skiing, snowmobiling or hiking, take a soak in the private 6 person hot tub and look up for some amazing star gazing.
You are welcome to use the firewood as well as our three sets of snowshoes (during the winter season) in which to hit the local trails.
Enjoy yourselves in the open main-floor plan--great for entertaining or spending some quality time together with family. All bedrooms, including the spacious, dramatic master bedroom with vaulted ceiling are located on the second floor. The bathrooms have toasty, heated tiled flooring.
A perfect mountain retreat--you may never want to leave!
ADDITIONAL RENTAL INFORMATION:
A deposit is due upon booking, balance due 30 days prior to arrival. Stays that are booked less than 1 month in advance will require payment in full at time of booking. Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations less than 60 days prior to arrival unless we can re-rent that timeframe; we will make every attempt to do so. A security deposit will be requested at check-in and will be returned if there is no damage, theft, or excessive cleaning needed to the home.

We spent three weeks in Blue River over the forth of July Holiday. The owners were easy to work with and very accommodating. The home is beautiful and had everything my family needed for a fun relaxing getaway. We met very nice people in the neighborhood and felt very welcomed. It was a perfect location for hiking and a short drive to town. This was the perfect summer vacation. We would love to come again soon!

What a great place to stay!. It is very low-key and homey, and perfect for a family get together. Cozy, but with plenty of space for everyone. A beautiful and peaceful setting, but only a short drive to all Brekenridge has to offer. The owners were friendly and helpful, and left thoughtful touches like area maps and guides, some "goodies" and lots of towels and shampoo and lotion in the bathrooms. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!
