Our family had such a great time at Ocean Spray! We LOVED its proximity to the beach and pool! The wet bar with wine chiller and ice maker was fabulous! It was also so easy to get to. Thanks Jeannie and Ed for a GREAT week!

Great vacation house

Our family (grown children and grandchildren) had a wonderful time at the Ocean Spray the week of June 18th 2011. The owner was wonderful throughout the whole process of renting w/VRBO and the house was very clean and had everything we wanted or needed. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you could want - we love to cook at the beach and we had everything we needed. We all loved the house and Fort Morgan and cannot wait to come back.

Wonderful Family Vacation

We just returned from our week at the beach and were so pleased with this property. The pictures just don't do it justice! We were a family of 9, including grandparents and kids, with a 7 month old infant. The house was very kid-friendly, but also very welcoming to the adults. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed to cook 3 meals a day, and was just big enough for 2-3 adults to work in there without trampling each other. There was also a ton of space in the pantry for all of our food, and an additional ice maker in the wet bar. The dining area was nice, with enough room for us all to sit at the table, and more seats at the bar available too. We also really appreciated have a highchair available for the baby, and plastic cups and such for the other kids. The living room couch was big and comfy, and the entertainment system was great--the kids loved watching their blu-rays on the ginormous TV when they couldn't go down to the beach. The bedrooms were very accomodating with lots of storage room and very nice decor. A big plus were the tvs with satellite in every room, so we could all watch what we wanted. It also helped that the kids could watch cartoons while everyone else got a little more sleep. (Note, the blue room that shares the Jack and Jill bath with the bunk room is right next to the a/c, so it's a little noisier and much colder than the other bedrooms.) The bathrooms were also very nice, with super plush towels that were dreamy. The back porch had amazing views, and really nice rockers and a swing that the kids loved snuggling in after a long day at the beach. We even got to see some dolphins from the deck on our last morning there. And of course you're right on the beach! It's a beautiful and quiet area. We had pictures taken there that came out stunning. And my son caught a seahorse with his bare hands while playing in the water! Finally, the homemade cookies we received were a hit. The only "negatives" are that this property is at least 20 min from Hwy 59 (30 from the outlets in Foley) so if you want to go out to eat or go shopping it's going to take awhile--but it also means quiet, uncrowded beaches. And the back door can be very hard to open--of course this meant our little ones couldn't get out without our help, but it was also a little hard on grandma. We've been traveling to Ft Morgan as a family for 4 years, and this is by far my most favorite property--we look forward to many more years of staying here.

Thank you for a wonderful week - enjoyed the homemade cookies waiting on us when we arrived. The beach was beautiful the week of June 12, 2010. Water was clear all week with no tar balls anywhere near this house. The house was so comfortable and steps from the water. Thank you for a great vacation.

Our family just returned from a week spent at Ocean Spray in Gulf Shores, AL. We had a wonderful time made even more enjoyable by the very pleasurable accommodations. Ocean Spray was very well equipped, clean, and very close to the ocean. We loved being able to walk down the steps right onto the beach, and we could easily watch the dolphins as well as the determined fishermen in our group. It was quiet and restful yet not too far from other activities. The Bryans were very cordial and helpful and we hope to meet them on future visits. We have recommended it to all family and friends and look forward to returning.

The house is beautiful and colorfully decorated. Great TV access in every room, including a large flatscreen in living room for the hum-bugs who would rather watch TV than dolphins. It is very VERY clean and close to the water. The covered deck is great and we truly enjoyed our visit. Thanks for the home-made chocolate chip cookies that greeted us upon our arrival! One drawback - you feel like you are intruding on the other property if you use the pool located there, especially if they have dogs penned in the area. Also, the 4th bedroom has a queen size bed, not king. Other than that, it was GREAT and we would recommend it to our friends.
